  1. Past hour
  2. Bauer should interview himself and ask why he's been so inconsistent his season. 😉 In all seriousness, maybe it was a bit of both. 😀 I just hope the time off because of his groin injury doesn't derail his season, as he was basically a lock for Comeback Player of the Year.
  3. It could be me after all. If there's a risk that my pick we'll be coming within my night's hours - I can always send a private message to the person choosing after me with an ordered list of my preferences. Unless you guys see a risk of influencing others here :-)
  4. He always does catch him so why the "hmmmm?"
  5. I guess I should have waited a couple of minutes to make my post. Oh well, they are going to finally play, which is what really matters. 😀
  6. MG holds out for the Chargers and no trade partners are found. Ekeler and Justin Jackson are basically ineffective on the ground averaging under 2YPC, some FA retread like Alf Morris is brought in but is likewise ineffective and the Chargers run game sputters. Out of necessity the team shifts into a more air-based attack, with 2019 Rivers becoming the 2018 Big Ben whose pass attempts go from around 500 to 675 from the past season to this one. From a passing percentage around 58% last year (17th in the league) they leap up into the Top 3 in the neighborhood of 67% or so. Rivers' weapons rise to the task, becoming the NFL leading WR corps comprised of surprisingly healthy Keenan Allen, Mike Williams moving into borderline WR1 level production, and Travis Benjamin thriving in the slot. Meanwhile Hunter Henry blossoms into a top 3 TE and the small ball ground game of Ekeler/JJ scatbacks make the Chargers into a surprising offensive powerhouse. Soon Rivers is letting it rip and slinging it with reckless abandon like FitzMagic, and hangs 8 passing TDs on the hapless Dolphins in week 4 beating the 7TD record held jointly by Nick Foles, PFM, and few other dudes. Chargers go to the AFC Championship game and their offense gets manhandled by the Colts defense.
  7. The Chiefs didn’t trade for Hyde. They signed him to a 1-year deal off the street following his release from the Jags.
  8. I'm interest if it's still avail.
  9. I think it's pretty safe unless the Red Sox decide "Hey, making the playoffs is overrated. We'll give Tampa a shot this year and then try again next year, so Rafael, you are sitting the rest of the season."
  10. I am happy!!! I could be a Brendan Rodgers owner.
  11. @CyberneticGhostOfXMasPast OTC for two. @FFCollusion and @DocJ coming close
  12. I'm wondering the same, if for nothing besides finally getting to use Nate Lowe again. With him sitting the first two games of the series, it would be nice to finally get some games from him again. Another rainout would suck.
  13. I had him as one of 6-7 WR that would have their 1st 1,000 yard season.
  14. It did derail my MLB career, but it's for the best. You're on the road so much, you have no time to spend with your wife and kids. And I really want a wife and kids.
  15. Trying to fill out two ESPN leagues. The first is a 10-man/PPR 2-QB league, the second is a 12-man/PPR league. Neither have IDPs or D/STs spots, but both are high scoring & fun. Lots of spot are open. Links to both leagues will be below, so join if you’d like.
  16. Stopped reading after it said non-refundable as you proceed to claim you have the right as dictator, while maybe taking into account the other league members to kick out a member without a refund of such a large buy-in. Commissioners who believe they have a right to be a dictator make up the absolute worst fantasy leagues. Random note, I do like the scoring format you have though and am intrigued by the idea of awarding a point to C for throwing out a would be base stealer...
  17. I don't see why it wouldn't continue and I expect there will be some game depended situations where Howard ends up on the bench. I do believe PHI can score a lot this year which should help keep Howard on the field, especially with leads. I'm really curious to see how their goal line situations stack up - I know PHI likes to toss in some pass catching backs every now and then to change things up.
  18. Thought I saw Sunday. Guess that was wrong.
  19. I don't have the exact research in front of me, but I remember reading something that there is very little repeat-ability within the top 5 or 10 defenses year over year. Typically 2 or 3 defenses from last year's top 10 will be in the top 10 again this year, and good luck figuring out which. Personally for me, I stream. I use my second to last pick on defense, and I select whichever one is left that has the tastiest Week 1 match up. Stream each week from there. I don't use waiver priority, I just wait until Wednesday morning, and find the best match up in FA. It's worked out pretty well so far. One caveat though, is that I play in 5 leagues, and I'm really the only one who streams across all 5 for the most part. People still blow high picks on defenses, and since they invested that capital, typically ride or die the season with said defense. As one poster alluded to, if your whole league is in on streaming, obviously that becomes more difficult, and I would spend a decent pick on a set and forget defense I liked.
  20. With the 106th Pick in the 2019 Rotoworld Mock Real League, Zidane Valor selects: Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants Zidane's 2019 Ranking: 26th WR, 63rd Overall 2018 Statistics 66 receptions, 872 receiving yards (13.2 YPR), 4 TD 144.2 fantasy points 2019 Projection 80 receptions, 1000 receiving yards (12.5 YPR), 4 TD 164 fantasy points In theory, someone has to be the #1 WR for the Giants. Might as well be Sterling, who already averages 63 receptions per season. I predict a small bump in receptions even if not in touchdowns. I see a lot of 5-for-63 games for Sterling this season. @CyberneticGhostOfXMasPast is on the clock.
