  1. Past hour
  2. It did derail my MLB career, but it's for the best. You're on the road so much, you have no time to spend with your wife and kids. And I really want a wife and kids.
  3. Trying to fill out two ESPN leagues. The first is a 10-man/PPR 2-QB league, the second is a 12-man/PPR league. Neither have IDPs or D/STs spots, but both are high scoring & fun. Lots of spot are open. Links to both leagues will be below, so join if you’d like. http://fantasy.espn.com/football/league/join?leagueId=79535595&inviteId=153b4f00-9445-4179-8752-3b0275f4ea96 http://fantasy.espn.com/football/league/join?leagueId=99806987&inviteId=f3b77b16-0047-4639-827e-61eb31ed686e
  4. Stopped reading after it said non-refundable as you proceed to claim you have the right as dictator, while maybe taking into account the other league members to kick out a member without a refund of such a large buy-in. Commissioners who believe they have a right to be a dictator make up the absolute worst fantasy leagues. Random note, I do like the scoring format you have though and am intrigued by the idea of awarding a point to C for throwing out a would be base stealer...
  5. I don't see why it wouldn't continue and I expect there will be some game depended situations where Howard ends up on the bench. I do believe PHI can score a lot this year which should help keep Howard on the field, especially with leads. I'm really curious to see how their goal line situations stack up - I know PHI likes to toss in some pass catching backs every now and then to change things up.
  6. Thought I saw Sunday. Guess that was wrong.
  7. I don't have the exact research in front of me, but I remember reading something that there is very little repeat-ability within the top 5 or 10 defenses year over year. Typically 2 or 3 defenses from last year's top 10 will be in the top 10 again this year, and good luck figuring out which. Personally for me, I stream. I use my second to last pick on defense, and I select whichever one is left that has the tastiest Week 1 match up. Stream each week from there. I don't use waiver priority, I just wait until Wednesday morning, and find the best match up in FA. It's worked out pretty well so far. One caveat though, is that I play in 5 leagues, and I'm really the only one who streams across all 5 for the most part. People still blow high picks on defenses, and since they invested that capital, typically ride or die the season with said defense. As one poster alluded to, if your whole league is in on streaming, obviously that becomes more difficult, and I would spend a decent pick on a set and forget defense I liked.
  8. With the 106th Pick in the 2019 Rotoworld Mock Real League, Zidane Valor selects: Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants Zidane's 2019 Ranking: 26th WR, 63rd Overall 2018 Statistics 66 receptions, 872 receiving yards (13.2 YPR), 4 TD 144.2 fantasy points 2019 Projection 80 receptions, 1000 receiving yards (12.5 YPR), 4 TD 164 fantasy points In theory, someone has to be the #1 WR for the Giants. Might as well be Sterling, who already averages 63 receptions per season. I predict a small bump in receptions even if not in touchdowns. I see a lot of 5-for-63 games for Sterling this season. @CyberneticGhostOfXMasPast is on the clock.
  9. imagine he might eat into some of rileys pt....
  10. For me it would come down to if I thought I had a very good chance at winning this season. If I thought I was a long shot, I'd probably hold on to Allen.
  11. I''d take team 3 if available been doing dynasty for years but league finally broke up. jevans85@columbus.rr.com
  12. Do you mean Dickey Betts from the Allman brothers band? It's been a lot longer than that.
  13. There goes Stripling's W, right on cue. Dude can't buy one.
  14. Betts just hit his first HR in 648 days
  15. Good thing Montoyo sat him against Rick Porcello who they hung some runs on but felt it was smart to run him out against Sale. I can’t believe this
  16. Jd Martinez has regressed to outside the top 75 this year...dnd for me unless he falls late
  17. Depends on how spicy they need to be to be considered bold. These might be mild sauce but I think they’re also the minority view.
  18. Sandy Leon was behind the plate for Sale today hmmm...
  19. That's strange. I managed to paste the roster here, albeit in a less than aesthetically pleasing format. If you are interested leave your email. Thanks! 20. $240 Auction Budget. We use a Super Flex in addition to a standard Flex (So we can start 2 QB). I was offered Andrew Luck $30 for my Josh Allen $8. I cannot keep Luck past this offseason, but the other owner would have Allen for 6 seasons (potentially). My other keepers are inexpensive, so I can afford to add luck financially. However, is there really a massive enough difference between the two from a fantasy perspective? I took projections from 3 different sources, averaged them and plugged in our scoring system. Luck came out #4 overall and Allen was #17. But of the course of 16 games, it showed only a 30 point gap between the two positions. Now I am stumped.
