When can we expect Trayvon Robinson to be called up?  What can we expect from him in the future?

Current AAA stats: .336, 7 HR, 22 RBI, 2 SB

Looks like he has decent power and he stole 47 bases last season.  He does strike out a lot though.

Never trust PCL #'s. He seems like a better option than Sands or Loney though. They need to move Kemp to LF, put Robinson in CF, and platoon Loney and Sands.

I'm a big Trayvon Robinson fan. His power potential is moderate, but the speed is plus. Sure, he strikes out a lot, but he also knows how to take a walk. A call-up later this season is certainly possible.

5 for 6 yesterday with 4 RBI.  He can't possibly be worse than Tony Gwynn Jr.  Let's get him up in the bigs!

This guy would make sense in LF and hitting 2nd in the lineup.
Really need someone with speed in the 2 hole.  Casey Blake in the 2 spot is absurd..

Could be getting close to being called up. Thames was supposed to go on the DL today unless he made some progress. I havent heard anything official yet but Robinson is not in the sunday lineup for AAA. Maybe a move is announced after the game today?

the ONLY thing that is worrying me is his K's .. seems to be K-ing nearly one out of every 3 at bats...    --  but regardless, he is having one heck of of a first half

yeah but hes certainly not worth a long term commitment from the dodgers when they have a cheap guy essentially waiting to claim the position...loneys ops of .675 as a 1B should have him out of the league rather than making 5 mil per year

Time for the Dodgers to call this kid up. I know he's been more of a power hitter than a speedster this year. But just imagine what Davey Lopes can teach this kid.

I've love for the dodgers to give him a chance.
Switch hitter with some pop and speed.  Sounds great for hitting in the 2 hole.  Time to get Casey "hit into DP" Blake out of the 2 hole for god sake!

2 HR tonight, which gives him 20 for the season.  3K though, as that continues to be a worry.

I guess we all have to wait now.

Rivera has been acquired by the Dodgers for a player to be named later or cash considerations, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports. Of course, the cash  considerations or PTBNL will determine whether or not this makes any  sense for the Dodgers, but the corresponding move to clear roster space  was the designation of Marcus Thames for assignment Tuesday. Presumably,  Rivera will handle the bulk of the left field duties for the Dodgers  during the second half of the season.

Thames is nothing more than a platoon player, or bench bat. He will not effect Trayvon, but looking more and more like Sept callup may be the soonest we see him.

I don't know what LAD was thinking, but SEA acquired Robinson as a part of the deal that sent Bedard to BOS. In my opinion, LAD could have used Robinson in their own OF right now. Just a major score for SEA.

Yeah, terrible trade for LAD.  It doesn't help his fantasy value for him to go to SEA and he really needs to cut the K rate down.  I'm slightly souring on him now
