Greetings guys.

Ben Tate---- Drop him? I have 5 RBs. I had only kept him going along to see if Foster would breakout. Which he did. With A. Johnson out. I am sure either A) Break out even more B) Tate will get siphon off more carries as the workload will be huge C) Foster will slow down since he cannot just go full steam coming off his injury.

What do you think? If Foster is truly back. Tate will be a wasted roster spot, no better than picking up some third string RB. I mean I have a very good backup in Jacobs, who actually has a near equal timeshare.

Fred Davis---- Ok for those of you who posted in my threads earlier. I am a weird owner still with 3 TEs. But probably not for long.

Davis, with Bad Rex has sucked. Cooley is healing. I feel he is worth a drop right now. Given that Daniels is hot right now, Gonzalez is stable as ever.

I can always drop F. Davis and pickup the plethora of TE's that blowout every given week. We have Gresham and Cook. If I really wanted to hog up, I might take Gresham and try to swing Gonzalez in a trade.

I had offered Gonzalez for McGahee. The other owner declined and countered with Tolbert for Gonzalez. I got the trade at night, said i will do it in the morning, and it was gone by the time I saw it. Obviously he saw it was a bit much maybe. But his only TE is Winslow and he has no flexibility to get another TE.

So drop both? Or what else?

_______________

On another note. Bengals D this week vs JAC or Titans D vs PIT?

_______________

Is Orton fine as my backup OR should I go for one of these guys as better Vick security. Drop Orton?

I would drop Tate and Davis.

Go with Houston's D vs Pitt's weak O-line and injuries.

Stick with Ortin as your back up QB.

Yeah go ahead and drop them both. Their purpose has been served and the space can be better utilized.

I would drop them...I have tate also but i am holding onto him for sole purpose of the backfield being a possible commitee backfield..even though doubtful.

I agree with the others.

With your roster, you're fine to drop both if you need the spot. If not, it doesn't hurt to hang onto Tate just in case.

I'd go with TEN@PIT. Their O-Line has looked horrible, and TEN has played well. Plus, Ben & Mendy are both banged up.

TE(1): Witten
W/R/T: Top WRT not started
K: Hauschka
D/ST: MIA (Wk 3 Streamer)

Drop both and do TEN. Tate has no value with foster around, and Davis is very iffy with the way Gross has been. pitt has been playing terribly as of late and you are bound to get some good pts from TEN.

I would keep Orton. Only slightly consider Orton for Dalton.

Thanks for help on mine

Tate's the handcuff. If you have room, I like handcuffing my players, especially if they can produce in that system. If Foster goes down, Tate still gives you high end RB2 low end RB1 value. If you don't have room, cut him.

You could cut Davis too, but I still think he's a solid TE option, even with Cooley looking back to form. The Skins are throwing a bit this year and they are running continuous 2 TE sets. Grossman is not a good QB and will continue to lean on his TEs this year. He's cuttable for the right price but I wouldn't cut him for just anybody.

Go with Houston's Defense and keep them for the rest of the year. They are way underrated and they have great matchups in playoffs.

Thanks for help with mine!

Thanks guys. I am leaning on dropping Tate and Davis.

I have 9th waiver anyways and will have to see who will end up available.

I am targeting Jacoby Jones and Isaac Redman. I am sure those will all be gone, maybe not! If nothing else, I might drop Fred Davis for Jermaine Gresham. Wise?

Jacoby because: Manningham is my third WR and Jacoby might have some value over next 3 games. My backup is Jacoby Ford.

Redman because: I have to start Brandon Jacobs this week because of F. Jones bye. I migt consider starting Redman if I get him due to the reports on Mendy. Thoughts?

Gresham because: If i get him and nothing else, I have offers for Gonzalez.

I am for sure going for the Ten D. I don't have Houston in my waivers. Even they MIGHT be gone.

Let's see what I end up with and can see from there if Tate and Davis are worth dropping.

I actually like Tolbert more than McGahee. I would hold onto Tate for now. Hammy may come back on Foster. I would drop Fred.l

I might have missed it but it all depends on who you are picking up. I wouldnt drop either just to pick up someone you dont really need, infact i dont think Tate really has value but ill tell you this as a foster owner he has value to me, so you might be able to trade him to the Foster owner.

Damn. Tate is really enticing to hold onto.

I was going to drop him for Redman, who I might not get. If not Redman, then I will hold onto him.

Is that a better approach?

i would be OK with dropping davis with your other TE's, wouldn't be in a hurry to unload tate unless you're getting somebody good. he's an Arian Foster injury away from being a RB1

Dump em both. Really hoping Hernandez comes back this week so I don't have to rely on another hit or miss TE ;/

I think I'd actually keep Tate. He's the most valuable handcuff in the league right now. These hammy injuries appear to linger all season. If you can afford the spot, keep him. Tough call on Davis. Most thought he'd be a #1 TE the rest of the year after the first two games but has been awful the last two. If there are better options, I guess I'd get rid of him.
