Any thoughts on Sproles going forward? I def. think he's lost value. Don't mind the loss of touches, just wondering if he'll see the field as much...

I'm very worried.  I've managed to scrape by without him, but stepping into the playoffs with no RB2 could be no bueno.

I think he will still have value. Especially in the passing game which is where he gained most of his points anyway. He is just to explosive not to be involved a lot.

Looks like hes ready to go for this weeks game. Start him as you would if he was healthy although i do think the hand effects his pass catching ability

gonna start Steven Jackson over him at RB2 this week and give him another week to heal up. Wanna see some results before I plug him in.

I don't expect his hand to be a factor at all. The Saints have no incentive to start a role player who can't perform his role (passing down back/receiver). They already have a plethora of performing healthy running backs and receivers.  I also really  don't understand why he is so low on rest of year expert rankings. This is the type of player who can make a championship team in PPR leagues. We should be proactive, not reactive.

With that said, I wouldn't feel comfortable starting him in standard leagues, nor would i want him in those leagues in general. It's do or die time in fantasy. I would take a "wait and see" approach if I could (If i had a solid RB2/flex already in lineup, lock to win, lock for playoffs, etc), but I wouldn't fault anyone starting him in PPR this week. He has a ton of potential immediately if he can start where he left off.

Sproles was dropped in my dynasty league (LOL)  The guy who dropped him also has the #1 WW pick so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can snag of at the #2 slot.  I definately think he could come in to the playoff weeks and make an impact.

you can't pick someone up if you drop them via waivers...you have to wait for them to clear first. haha. welcome sproles to your team. ;p

Can the guy even catch a football?  His whole game is predicated on catching footballs...

I own him in a standard league with return yards.... If he is not returning punts he loses alot of value for me so I'll start Reece and Spiller and play it by ear  for now

I'm starting him with confidence this week. I doubt Ivory, Ingram, or PT have much success running the ball against San Fran which should mean more playing time for Sproles.

Well, he did say he could return kicks prior to Week 11 - so I would imagine he'd be reinserted into his standard return role.

Not starting him until I see how he does for at least a week.  Maybe if I was in a must-win situation, but I'll take a safer play at this point.

He has a broken hand and is playing against SF... I'm leaning towards waiting and seeing.  I could see him coming out of the game early with swelling or something like that.

yah that's a fear of mine as well, if he goes on to have a ridiculous game on my bench then so be it...just be 100% at the end of the game.
