Unbelievable that a guy some people were considering for "best player in the league" earlier in the season is now worth a 3rd-rounder.

this is what happens when teams KNOW a player wants out and/or the team wants to get rid of him. if we're talking just straight up talent this guy is worth a first round pick easily ... but teams know he wants out and he's coming off injury ... negotiations always start with a lowball offer

i expect him to go for a 2nd round + conditional pick in 2014 based on performance.

the issue is not the draft pick...its the fact that when traded he will be demanding a new contract to be one of the highest paid WR's in the game.  The injury risk and character issues make this a huge risk.

true ... sort of a restricted free agent type deal where you'd have to give up a pick and pay big money

typically these kinda deals don't get done so should be interesting ... vikings would be smart to hold him unless they get at least a 2nd rounder. a 3rd is a joke, every team would be scrambling to work out some sort of deal like that.

doesn't help his cause that wallace/bowe/jennings/cruz[RFA] are all gonna be available in a few weeks either.

Harvin as a Patriot...assuming he stays healthy= #1 WR in PPR leagues.    It's a long shot but possible.  Fun to think about.

Rotoworld is getting stupid with the "Harvin is injury-prone!!!" meme.

He missed 3 games in 3 seasons prior to a singular broken ankle but they always play up a supposed "injury history."

Stupid.

Missed 10 games in 4 years and has had a migraine condition that often had his owners wondering if he'd play up until kickoff [and stay in the game].

I love Harvin, I hate the injury prone tag, but he's not exactly a model of health either.

One major injury kept him out 7 games.  That hardly makes him injury prone.

For comparison's sake, Hernandez has missed more games in only THREE years and doesn't get that reputation.

Rotoworld needs a new, and less biased, "blurb" writer.  Seems like he just writes a bunch of stereotypes about players and people don't even question it.

Vikes will get a 3rd round comp pick at the end of next year for simply not re-signing him....  Lets end the only worth a 3rd rounder discussions....

I think it is debatable that he was even injured this year.  I think most of the games he missed were because he was sent home.....for being a distraction.  He did not even come to the playoff clinching game or playoff game.  Normally key players do.  He was either told not to come or he decided he did not want to come after being placed on IR.

it is funny, how his buddy now says his gripe is not about his contract.  Ok.  He is underpaid and he is now asking for $12 Million a season, but contract is not important?  Yeah right.  He's trying to increase interest.  He has more than one gripe.  He is a professional griper.
