Why do these guys blow up after I drop their asses? Sigh. I dropped him for Edelman who got more points so at least I can take solace in that but then again Broyles will probably be the only one playing next week. Sigh.
Rotoworld Forums' Official Badass with 6 warning points.

Most of what I post is for giggles. Please do not take me seriously when I'm venting about a pitcher that just got bombed or a hitter in a 2 for 20 slump. It's all for effect and trying to make all my fellow rotoheads chuckle, so don't be "that guy", yeah you know what I'm talking about.

What you guys think will happen when Young comes back? Hope he's benched for the ROS, since DET is likely out of playoff contention. Not sure how I feel about Broyles while Young still in the picture taking targets away. Especially since for some reason, Stafford (and Schwartz, presumably) have a man crush with Pettigrew, despite all his mishaps. Not enough targets to go around.

can you say STUD in the making. Just watching him yesterday gave me chills. His route running is so crisp and he finds spots in the defense where he can get the ball and that shows me great awarness. Im sold on this guy and if he can show me he can finish the year strong i have no problem getting this guy as my WR2 for next year.

Doesn't have the best hands though, but still better than scrubs like Pettigrew.

He should be a viable starter for the remainder of this season as well. Stafford is getting better with each game.

Yeah several Broyles scouting reports suggested the dude has tremendous hands.

The main complaint is he's more Welker than anything else -- wins the 10 yard dash and agility-based matchups with CBs but has poor straightline speed; sharp in and out of double moves but not going to blow anyone away on a skinny post. I'd love to have him.

His double moves were pretty nice yesterday.

Could be Wes Welker-lite.

Did I just see someone say Broyles "doesn't have the best hands?"

I believe I remember reading a quote from him claiming that he's only dropped two passes throughout all of college that he can remember.

Basically, if Broyles emerges as a Midwest Welker to Megatron's uh Megatron, and if Stafford somehow struggles with this offense next year, just hand the damn keys over to Shaun Hill because the sky is the limit with an experienced Broyles moving chains for Megatron to score from 35 yards out.

Wait, this guy is black? I sort of just assumed he was white like Welker, Nelson and all the other scrappy little white dudes with good hands who find holes in the zone but don't have great 1 on 1 breakaway speed.

perhaps you should do a lil research before opining (for the sake of avoiding misinformation) . he hurt his knee which contributed to his draft stock dropping.

IMHO, only Blackmon was the better receiving talent coming out of the draft. this kid is going to be a legitimate star in this league.

What does everyone think of this guy RoS? As great as he was last week, unless Titus Young is completely removed from the picture, I don't see him getting 10+ targets on a regular basis.

Hopefully given Pettigrew's miscues, DET could shift targets away from him instead of Broyles?

My question is this, isn't Detroit sick of that bum titus? Broyles looks to be the real deal.

While I do agree about Broyles being the real deal, if Titus is in the picture, he will definitely put a damper on things. I think both are talented, but there aren't enough targets to go around to all four guys (including Pettigrew).

I'm in Detroit and, yes, most are sick of Titus Sr. Many hated the Broyles pick...hoping for help in the secondary. So, lots of speculation on whether Broyles was replacing Burleson in the long run, but I think the Lions see the writing on the wall with Titus Sr...petulant baby. Needs to go.
