Good job Dunder, looks like we were one of few on planet Earth who started Shorts this week =)

1.8% owned in ESPN, only 0.8% started.  Not hard to see Shorts is an excellent deep threat when Gabbert decides to play well.

Good line today early. Looked pretty good before Gabbert injury. He was definitely getting the targets. Worth a bench spot.

Shorts is looking more and more like a WR3, end is the defacto WR1 in Jacksonville (sorry Blackmon).

Worth starting over some other guys with the right matchup

Considering starting Shorts over Bowe with Woodson out at Green Bay and Jennings as the lead RB in Jacksonville.

The Quinn/Bowe connection looks pretty crappy. Especially when its against the 2nd worst pass defense in the league.

Dunder, I too have Bowe and am strongly considering the bench until Quinn shows something (and as a chiefs fan, I can tell you he won't).  Basically for me at WR3 it comes to Donnie Avery or Shorts.  Avery has been getting 2nd most targets for the Colts but is also the least efficient receiver in the league.

The big thing that concerns me with Shorts this week is Gabbert's sore shoulder.  Not sure if he will have the strength to accurately throw those bombs that Shorts specializes in catching.  If Henne plays, Jennings value increases and Shorts decreases.

Starting Shorts this week. Not nearly as exciting as starting Legatron, but watching a no name guy no one cares about go ballistic is fun. Now, let's see if they'll even show a game on the networks
where the Packers are guaranteed to win ^_^

I'm starting him this week.  I think he's a sneaky play in a game where:

- GB projects to be way ahead forcing the Jags into comeback mode
- Loss of MJD
- Loss of Charles Woodson
- Garbage pts at the least hopefully

Starting him for garbage points as well in favor of Gordon due to weather for the reasons listed above.

He still has Gabbert throwing to him. He's not a bad pickup if you have the room, but I wouldn't drop anybody valuable for him.

Might drop Malcom Floyd with SD in such a mess. I figure Shorts may do more than Floyd or Lance Moore will do.

Newly starting + most targeted guy + best deep threat? I'll take a flyer on him over some other scrub. Might start him in my PPR over DMC in a flex slot;;Gabbert was pretty effective last week before  a couple of drops by Jennings and others. If Cecil would've hung on to that long one in double coverage he would've had 9 catches for 152. Gotta love his upside if they trail Detroit which is likely.

Could do worse as a flex.

I'm surprised there's not more people on this hype train.

I'm gonna roll with him this week, the matchup is right, he's gotten 22 targets over the past two weeks, and he's producing.

The fact that they announced he is going to remain a starter even with Robinson back means he should be a solid play, could be a WR3 with upside going forward.  Gabbert threw for 300 yards last week and could be turning a corner.

Definitely the #1 WR in Jacksonville now.

Both him and Jeremy Kerley are overlooked because of apparent ceiling caps (i.e. awful Quarterbacks). Gabbert looked excellent against GB, but that might've been a function of losing Woodson. But I agree, I'm starting him as a WR4 this week.

Shorts sure got some nice post-Week 9 press from the fantasy writers. I'm keeping my eye on him, but want to see more before I"ll consider adding him, and deciding on who to dump accordingly.

Jags will be down big and somebody has to catch those passes while in catchup-mode. I like!
