Ideally would want to scoop Kawhi in the late 3rd/ early 4th.  Don't think he's hyped up enough or a brand name to be snabbed in the 2nd round and I'd rather pick other 2nd rd studs and target Kawhi after.  Next season's redrafts also seem like they'll be deeper in the early rounds with returning elite talents e.g. Love, Kyrie, Rose, etc. and upcoming stars: A. Davis,Lillard, Wall so no need to reach for Kawhi so early imo. I really hope he's undervalued on draft day and can pick him up past the 4th rd

So you're telling us not to reach for Kawhi too early but you then mention Lillard and Wall in the same breath?

Lillard is much closer to his ceiling IMO after that rookie season, while Wall has his Rondo like flaws which means that he will never crack the early 2 rounds unless he fixes his game.

Yes anything inside a top 20 pick would be reaching for Kawhi, but if you're saying Lillard or Wall should be drafted above Kawhi, then you must not understand fantasy ball very well.

I'm saying that players like Wall and Lillard will have ADPs in the early rounds.  Never said draft these guys before Kawhi.

If I posted on this forum 5-6 years ago I would be Shane battier's Mom and dad because he goes 11th round while perennially putting up 5th round numbers.

My comment had less to do with the point you/indoor is making and more to do with how you/him are making it.

I've never seen someone make the same point this many times in defense of a fantasy player. There's literally dozens of pages of the exact same thing being said over and over. Just an observation

To be fair, Kawhi does get ragged on more than most players for some unjustified reason.

Does he have first round upside? Absolutely.
Will he be a first round value? Possible but probably not.
Where will he be drafted? Anywhere from round 1 to 12 depending on your league format, skill of players etc, hey it's a free country.

Totally agree, lots of people do rag on him. It was just an observation. Some people describe insanity as doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. He keeps making the same point and people keep ragging on him. Seems like a never ending cycle.

It's kind of like when an elementary school teacher teaches the same course over and over. I don't mind. It's fun, I like talking about kawhi, I'm infatuated with him, just like i was Josh Childress/Shane Battier back in the day. Also if you're suggesting I expect a different result, you'd be wrong. I can see why indoorkites left. But I've been enjoying talking about Kawhi using the exact same arguments fully expecting that the people using flawed arguments will continue to use the flawed arguments and plug leave kawhi on the wire.

But by defending Kawhi, you raise his profile thus destroying that aura of value that he has due to people not knowing what he is capable of LOL.

Yes, it's true but knowing kawhi's fantasy value doesn't really impact who wins in fantasy leagues. Plus fantasy is a hobby and is more fun when people are better, rather than me completely crushing everyone.
