RW projects for him bigger role: 14.27 fga/g (BBM 10.5) - and as a result:
14.7 Pts (BBM 11.7), 5.6 Reb (4.5), 3.8 Ast (2.8), 1.8 Stl (1.6), 2.1 TO (1.6)... also a big gap here in the FT%: BBM 76.3%, RW 69.7%

Wall is injured, Nene is injured and will always be.........

Ariza, Beal and Okafor will be the key of this franachise

Crawford and Seraphin are decent subs of coz

mmm, that .39 FG% is tempting, but I might have to pass.

what about H2H? 8th rd value projection isn't bad if you're getting him 2 rounds or more later.

Huh? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you but neither of those 3 players can carry a franchise, let alone do one bench press rep for the franchise. The team is going to be very bad again this year, especially with Wall out.

Ariza deserves to be drafted, don't fool yourself on what everyone in this thread is saying. His FG% should go up a lil when Wall gets back. They have plenty of offensive options, Wall/Beal/Nene etc Look at how well he shot the ball when he was with a stacked team like the Lakers. He was 50-52% FG%. Now the Wiz aren't obv as stacked as the Lakers were but the Wiz also aren't as bad on offense as the Hornets and Rockets were. I think Ariza should be around 45% from FG.

He has elite steals, solid blocks, solid boards, solid assists (altho they should go down this year), lowish turnover rate, with like 1 3 per game. His ft% isn't even that bad, super low attempts and around 70% or so. His FG% is bad but it's not enough to make him undraftable at all. If he had the exact same #s as last year he deserves to be drafted and not in the last round either. He finished in like the top 70 on bbm last year. Again people on here are legit crazy saying he should go undrafted or even close to it.

There's no question he's going to get drafted. One person said he was unrosterable in roto formats and stated their reasoning. He gives you steals and everything else is average for his position. He's a decent utility guy.

Those RW projections are about where i have him. He's a good 11-13 round target(for those in leagues with 13 rostered players)

Playing pretty well today, solid line across the board with steals and blocks. Dropped him for Gerald Green today after which he was promptly picked up. Hope he doesn't make me regret it lol

Yahoo has this guy ranked in the top 100 over the past couple weeks.

I can see this guy as a good end of the roster player. He provides defensive stats but low scoring. Is he another Kawhi Leonard? Hidden value?

Quote

Ariza accepts bench role: The Examiner reports while Wizards forwardTrevor Ariza views himself as a starter, he has accepted his role as defensive stopper off the bench. "He gives us a lot of versatility," coach Randy Wittman said. "I think he's fallen into a role. He's accepted it, and that's why he's playing at a high level. He's given us such a spark from a defensive standpoint, and the luxury of that being you can play him on so many different guys." Ariza started 13 of the team's first 15 games before being sidelined by a calf strain. He has since ceded the starting role at small forward to Martell Webster. "You don't want to disrupt the flow of the good things that we're doing," Wittman said. "I think he realizes that and has accepted that."
(Updated 2/6/13)
Fantasy Analysis: Ariza's numbers are indicating he is finally starting to accept his role off the bench. He has scored in double figures in three of the last four games. Still, it seems he's being used more for defensive purposes right now, so don't expect great scoring outputs from Ariza. He continues to have low-end Fantasy appeal.
(Updated 2/6/13).

Thoughts?
