Anyone thinks he can get @ 25 minutes/game and might achieve deep-league relevance?  This year's Avery Bradley?

Many think he's only a handcuff to CP3 but I think the door is open to get serious burn at SG.

Foye, Young and Mo Williams gone, Chauncy aging and coming off a serious achilles injury, Crawford an aging chucker who plays no D.  The opportunity is there at SG.  Although short at only 6-1, he has a 6-7.5 wingspan and 8-2 standing reach.  Compare his standing reach to other NBA SG:

Bledsoe:  8-2
Monta:  8-2
Avery Bradley:  8-2.5
Marcus Thornton:  8-3
Ben Gordon:  8-2

Though on the smallish side compared to the average NBA SG, he's no dwarf.  Couple that with his freakish athleticism and elite defensive ability, he could achieve fantasy relevance as soon as this season if given serious PT at SG.

Per 40 stats last season:  11 pts, 39% fg (ouch), 5 ast (w/ 5 TO-yuck), .5 3PM, 2.7 STL, 1.2 BLK

An efficiency nightmare, but the defensive stats are elite, and the turnovers should drop if he gets the majority of his minutes at SG.

I highly doubt he gets 25 mpg without any injuries happening. The Clippers would much rather have Grant Hill or Caron Butler slide over to the 2 than have Bledsoe do it for extended periods. Then they also have Matt Barnes who is a decent defender and can guard the 2 as well.

I absolutely love him.  But with that said, the love is mostly in terms of deeper keeper leagues.  Folks sleep on him because he has been playing in the shadows of superstars ever since he came outta High School.  He can straight up ball though, and if he gets out from under in L.A. (via trade at this point) he gonna put a hurtin' on.  In terms of this season, I think it's safe to say he gets at least 25 MPG at both guard spots.

I absolutely love this kid, and he actually looks like he might provide some fantasy relevance while Billups is out.

13/4/4 in only 17 minutes.  Why is Willie Green starting and getting 28 minutes?

Vinny refuses to make use of the CP3 Bledsoe pairing even though there is plenty of evidence that they're really good together, esp. from a defensive perspective. There's been a lot of #freeEricBledsoe calls so I do believe that he'll eventually get 25+ minutes. But then again, it's Vinny and so logic may get thrown out the window.

Billups is out at least two weeks, maybe this will free him up a bit.

If Paul was to miss time he'd probably be the pickup of the year, I have a feeling this guy is gonna get paid when he becomes a FA

Except Billups basically just entered the line-up a week ago, in fact, he's only played 3 games this season.  Bledsoe's minutes basically stayed the same when Billups jumped in the rotation (slightly less).

Bledsoe won't crack over 20 minutes if Paul is healthy.....tough to play them both at the same time (even though when they do, it is pretty successful since both of them are elite defenders).

I think you contradicted your words right there. While it's difficult for teams to pull off a small backcourt, the Clippers are one of them. Bledsoe is more than capable defensively, and is no longer that much of an offensive liability if you slot him in at the 2. He's built strong enough to take on bigger players, and has expanded his range so that he's very capable of hitting the wide-open perimeter jumper now. And of course, with a floor general like CP3, it makes everything a whole lot easier.

Like you said yourself, CP3/Bledsoe has and will be a very successful combo in the backcourt, and the Clippers need to explore it much more often. CP3/Bledsoe is just such a dynamic combo to match-up against, and should create a lot of advantages on the court for the Clippers.

It's a shame that the Hornets couldn't even get this guy in the CP3 trade, he would be a stud if he gets the minutes. He's one of my favorite players in the league. Great player to own/buy in dynasty leagues and if CP3 ever goes down he becomes a top 50 player for sure.

I know Beldsoe/CP3 is capable to play together, but Del Negro shy's away from that lineup. I'm just saying that whenever they use it, it has usually found success. Bledsoe has a 7'1 wingspan, so hes basically like a sg anyways. Del Negro just won't go Paul/Bledsoe/Crawford.

:o - is this true?  That would be incredibly freakish for a guy 6'1"...(and I know there are a number of freakish wingspan to height comparisons in the NBA)

It's actually 6'5.
