FROM THE ERIC GORDON FILES

Andrea Bargnani suffered a left calf contusion on Wednesday and will not return.
Here we go again. Bargnani was plagued by left calf injuries last year. This is a horrible way for his season to start and it's troubling even if it's just a minor injury. We'd suggest knocking the Italian down a round or so until further notice.

It's unrelated. He was kicked in the calf and got a bruise basically. It's not a strain.

What's the hype with Bargs? He's injury prone and gives you only 3 cats:  Pts, 3's, and FT%.  Overrated imo.

He is a solid pick for where he is being drafted. I was never really targeting him before but I think him playing in Toronto and coming off another typical year of his he is kind of slipping through the cracks. That is really the only reason I am getting him though because I prefer my big men to get big men stats like REBs and BLKs. He was always the focal point of the offense and bringing in Lowry should relieve some pressure. His ceiling/floor is very close for where he is being drafted so if you take a risky big man earlier in the draft he could help provide some stability. He is an injury risk himself though.

I think he may excel playing along side Valancuinas. Jonas will handle all the dirty work and free up Bargs to do his thing..let alone Lowry will take pressure off him too..

i was able to draft him in the 10th round of my 8-team league with the 73rd pick...i really wasnt targeting him, but his ceiling is probably too good to pass up at that spot.

Last seasons injury was unfortunate for Bargs cause his level of play on the court was much higher then it was in years past .. for the first time he looked like a player that believed he was 1 of the best guys on the court ...and had a stretch before the injury where he played like one ... if he can stay healthy my belief is hell make all of those managers who drafted him with the 55th pick happy.

Same here, wasn't targeting him at all but had to grab him with the 89th pick.

This guy was playing at a top 20 level in 9cat leagues last year. If he stays healthy, he's going to easily end up returning the greatest value to his owners. My biggest issue with this guy is he will not play through pain/injuries.

I'm enjoying the 26% shooting, and I'm sure Toronto loves his lack of any defense.

I'm sorry i said nice things about him a few posts up lol

When Lowrys is running the point, hes not looking for Bargnani, and at the same time Bargnani is not asking for the ball, nor doing much to deserve the ball ... through 2 games he seems to be floating around the court as if he was a role player. Now the few moments that Calderon and Bargs were on the court he looked good.

I havnt seen Lowry much on TV until these past few games ... great talent, cold as ice out there, allot of agression ... but can do a better job at point guard decisions... there were times they needed a big shot from someone other then him,and he never recognized who were the right guys to get the ball too.

this guy is such garbage...you wwould think at this point in his career someone in the raptors organization would pull him aside and explain to him that he needs to add something to his game besides floating around all friggin game h8isting up jumpshots,,
