As per rotoworld and their dumb writers:
"Kobe Bryant has "already had a few meetings" with Mike Brown and Eddie Jordan about the Princeton offense.
Jordan said that Kobe had "literally already picked it up in advance," which should surprise nobody. Kobe's basketball IQ and understanding of the game is off the charts, and it's clear that he's buying into the changes as a way to extend his team's title window. Bryant knows he's not playing forever and has two seasons remaining on his current contract."
Yep... 10 seconds on the block, wide open man in the low post, down by 1, and kobe fires from 30 feet double teamed. Really high IQ.
If kobe has a high basketball IQ then dwight howard is an above average free throw shooter. Kobe aka BLACK MAMBA aka THE RECRUITER aka THE QUITTER Bryant.

And wisegeeks, yes kobe was a monster in the clutch in 2010, but you are using an outlier to justify this myth of kobe clutch. Thats called being illogical, something kobe fans are very familiar with.
Kobe quit vs the suns, set records for allowing comebacks in the finals and getting blown out in a championship closing game, he has missed game winners at an epic rate in the playoffs, he got swept by the Mavs, has recruited players, and demanded trades.
Yea hes a real warrior who would never do what LBJ did lol. One had shaq, pau/bynum/odom, then nash/pau/dwight and the other had larry hughes and big z. Kobe is a drama queen, a rapist, a baby, and a product of being in a big market with the best front office in basketball history. Imagine him on cleveland with LBJ's former cast? Lol he wouldn't sniff 40 wins let alone 60 twice!!!

Good call on the now_i_know. Remember the "i have the best team ever in my 8 team public league" rantings.
He was someone else on fanball, also. What was his other username?

All these kobe fans are bron haters too. LeBron has never demanded to be traded, played out his contract, and never called out his teammates even tho they were worse then when kobe had no teammates. When kobe had no1 he didnt go anywhere, LeBron carried a team to the finals that was probably the worst in finals history.
People hate LeBron for "not taking the last shot" even tho kobe hasnt hit a big game winner clutch shot in years. Instead of taking a double team contested shot for the game winner, LeBron has always trusted his teammates like a good basketball player, and made the correct basketball play by passing to an open teammate to hit the last shot.
First of all, be flattered coz i'm replying to your silly argument. I shouldn't be active here until fantasy season starts.
Kobe want to be traded speaks of his desire to win a championship not wasting any time.
And try to look it up again, Kobe game winners 2010.
But everyone rips LeBron for trying to win! I just dont want to hear that s--- against lebron there is no arguments against him anymore its just silly. If you dont think lebron would have won 3 rings with the most dominant player in the league at that time Shaq, you are delusional. Plus he wouldnt have ran shaq out of time like an egotistical idiot and would have won more than 3.

What is everyones thoughts on Kobe this year? Considering he is coming off a season where he relinquished the scoring title on his own terms and is now playing his first season ever with a true point guard, I believe we are all in for a pleasant surprise. Kobe will have one of his better seasons- especially in terms of field goal percentage and efficiency. Long gone are the days where he will have to create every single opportunity for himself. I also believe the "Kobe is too old" stigma is way overhyped...Nash is 5 years older and still ballin' at a high level. Not only does Kobe still have some great ball left in the tank, we also might be in for one of his best seasons yet................

Nash is also a completely different kind of player. He's a pass-first PG who is also a tremendous spot-up shooter, not an athletic wing who relies on driving to the hole and getting his jump shot up over a defender.
Which is not to say "OMG Kobe is finished" but just because Nash is playing a high level despite being older, doesn't mean Kobe should be expected to maintain his level of play for another 3 or 4 years. In some respects, he's already exceeded the normal productive lifespan of athletic wings (like McGrady or Vince Carter, both of whom were donezo by age 34).

I'm not sure what to expect from Kobe this year.
Will he still be one of the top scorers in the NBA this year?

It's still "Kobe's" team. He'll get his touches, It's going to be the same BS as they had with Bynum. Gasol/Howard will get the same amount of touches as last year, with Nash playing a significantly larger role then Sessions did.

Kobe seems like an absolutely miserable human being. Obviously, a great player, but what an a-hole. His apologists will chalk it up to his "competitive fire", as if that's an excuse to treat others like excrement.
It's ironic that Kobe and Nash are going to finish their careers together. Two polar opposites. Watch Nash during games. Doesn't matter if it was Amare Stoudemire or the 12th man on the team, he's always treated every player on the roster the same. That's what true leaders do.

I expect more of the same from Kobe. He'll get his points, but will be incredibly inefficient in doing so. Although his turnovers might not be as bad this season with Nash handling the ball more, I think that will also lead to the continuing decline in his assist numbers.
25 ppg, 5 rpg, 4 apg, 1 spg, 1.3 3pm, 3.2 TO, 43/30/82 on percentages
I think overall he gets pretty overrated on name value alone. He's honestly not anywhere near as good as he used to be, and in my league he wasn't even a top 50 player a season ago.
