Did this injury look bad or does it appear to be one of those day to day things?  I am on bye this week so I can afford to him to miss a game, but beyond this week, well I may have to cut losses.

A week?

This sounds very bad. He could barely walk, he is in a lot of pain, and now he feels fluid in the back of his knee? This could be the season ending variety.

On second thought... does D'Antoni ever know what the hell he is talking about?

Metta World Peace has a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. He is returning to LA for further examination.

Please do not provoke me. I already have three four warning points on this board. Thank you.

Wow, how many times has the "out indefinitely" label been used on a Lakers player this season?

With recent news of him possibly playing would it be wise to pick him up?

It would be really impressive if he plays, but I can't imagine him being all that productive even if he does make it on the court.

He wasn't worth having IMO before he got hurt. He had a great start and produced for me big time but after the all star break there were better options on the wire than Metta. Not to mention Earl Clark has been playing pretty well and he's coming back from injury. Just my opinion..

that is not true, he was coming on in March after having a bad Feb because he was apparently recovering from an injury. I'm not sure how effective he will be after coming back from this injury so soon so I would probably wait and see how he does in his first game back to decide if it is worth an add.
