Im new to the NBA, kind of. But I'm looking for daily or even weekly NBA focused podcasts.

The Basketball Jones is great.
Last year ESPN: NBA Today was alright, but I guess they've quit? They have 1 podcast in Nov I think.

Any suggested listening?

The cbssports one as well as espns fantasy focus basketball are the two I listen to most.

I have to agree that the basketball jones is really good and I highly recommend it.  Entertaining and informative.  ESPN NBA Today is neither.

The baskerball monster one is OK but is too infrequent. I have not yet heard a good regular fantasy basketball podcast.  I'm not a huge fan of any of CBSs fantasy stuff for listening. It's OK, but I wouldn't recommend it.

NP, I like espn a tad better but these are probably the two best from a fantasy perspective.

The CBS one sounds like they record in a sewer.
Good, but the audio is horrible

Basketball Jones is definitely great
NBA on ESPN just died when Russello quit
NBA Fantasy is good if you need a fix but their theme music is TERRIBLE
CBS is probably the best for analysing games which is a huge improvement over years past
NBA Hangtime can be OK but it's all about the guests
Basketball Monster has only done a couple but they've been pretty good.  Not great yet, but not bad for a first effort.
The Jalen Rose show is AWESOME.  I could listen to him champagne and campaign all day long

That's all I've got.

Thank you for asking this question - I did a search hoping someone asked it because I was wondering the same thing!

I'm looking for something to listen to while at work (usually) and for some reason, at least online, it doesn't look like Basketball Jones is available? Maybe I'm not searching for it correctly, either on Google or on the Basketball Jones website. Either way, I'll try it in my podcast player; I'm hopeful about it.

I share everyone else's opinions about Basketball Monster. Optimistic, but far too infrequent. Their last podcast that I see on their website is about drafting still! Here we are in Week 5 and nothing since? Not good. Too bad as I was intrigued about their website and what they were doing too.

I also liked the ESPN NBA Fantasy podcast. Not great, but serviceable and about the best that I've found (which hasn't been many). I also liked Ryen Russillo. I didn't know that he'd left ESPN. Too bad as he seemed energetic and knowledgeable.

I'll have to try CBS Sportsline's. While I'd never host my league there ($100+!?), maybe they put together a good podcast.

Thank you for all of the suggestions, everyone!

In the studio, I can see how someone who doesn't really know him would say, "So this guy, who can't really talk, talks for a living?"
He struggles sometimes.

I wish Bill Simmons did a weekly NBA only Pod.

I'm not a big Simmons fan, but he's done a few with Zach Lowe that are pretty good.  Lowe really knows his s**t.  Simmons should do a weekly podcast with Lowe.  Simmons is far more tolerable when he talking the NBA that when he's talking about subjects he's not as well-versed on.

Basketball Jones(weird that Canadians have the No.1 Bball podcast :D )

HoopSpeak Live(Tuesdays & Thursdays,check youtube)
NBA Hangtime podcast with Sekou Smith(I like the addition of Rick Fox)
Bballbreakdown channel on youtube(usually does game analysis but manages to interview some interesting guests every week, also has a fantasy show)
B.S Report when Lowe+other Bball guys are on
Jalen Rose show with Dave Jacoby

TBJ is really the best one. It's available on Itunes and I have an Android phone and i get it subscribed on my podcast player (pocket casts), not too difficult to find.

It's the best because they are big fans of basketball and normal funny guys... not dressed up suits at a big company who have been assigned to the basketball podcast for now.  They watch most of the games and they have funny insight on the small happenings in the NBA with minor players.  It's in depth and really easy to listen too... and quite funny.

Not much else to add, I just agree, it's my favorite and best podcast show.  Very entertaining...

It's not a podcast and it's been dead for 5-6 years, but my favorite show was Rick Kamla and Rick Barry on NBA radio on Sirius. Kamla would crowbar in fantasy relevant stuff often, and Barry is probably the most candid guy of that generation. Barry moved on though, and I guess Kamla is busy w/ NBA TV obligations. I also miss the old daily fantasy show on NBA TV. I called in a few times, got to talk to Greeny and Mike Yam.
