Gabbert out because of shoulder surgery. Henne takes over as starting QB of the Jags starting week 12. Not a big Henne fan, but he'll be fantasy relevant. Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts suddenly got big boost in value.

I'm all in on Henne hysteria!
Starting this dude as my 2QB lol this is gonna be epic!
They have no run game anyway, he'll have to and want to throw to show that he deserves the starting job in 2013.

I picked up Chad Henne, starting him over Matt Ryan this week in my TD heavy league while Julio Jones recovers from his ankle injury. I'm way ahead in that league, so I figure I can risk losing a game for some laughs. Will be funny if Henne blows up in fantasy all of a sudden. Also starting Blackmon and Parmele so I can funnel all potential TDs into my lineup. This is either going to be a craptastic week, or a nice one.

I watched the Hou/Jax game on NFL replay to see the magical shoot out and oh man, Henne threw like 3-4 balls that were INT right into Hou defenders that just clanked off their mitts.
Even the bomb to Blackmon was a forced 3rd -21 where he had to chuck it deep and somehow in triple coverage Blackmon snatches it.
Henne def a serviceable QB2 as you are right, Jags have to throw it but he didnt look all that renewed from his MIA days of inconsistency.

rolling him out there as well, my other deep league QB's are hurt or benched so i am hoping to catch some billy volek magic....i feel like my team is decent so if he can give me 15 point performances from here on out i'll be happy....but if he can give 20 plus i'll be sitting pretty( i'll say i think because you never know in this game but things will be looking up at least)

not much love on the henne thread. he plays buffalo this week, definitely worth a shot right? with no run game, the jags are throwing it a ton so if anything he should put up the yards. for me, big ben hurt, palmer didn't do much last week (but has a much easier cle def this week), still - thinking about going henne for wk13.

Two good weeks in a row. Looking at his schedule rest of the season I feel like last week against the Titans may be his floor per game. May be just wishful thinking but with shorts blackmon lewis and no real run game seems real possible. And I'll take 16 to 20 point performances every week from here on out.
