They are being bombed thru the air recently by Jags and Lions.
Are they still elite?

I recently acquired the Texans defense. I liked their week 15 and week 16 matchups and was planning ahead for playoffs. I believe they play the colts and Vikings both at home....so if you are in the playoffs for sure, I would hold tight. But I must admit, their recent performances have been a concern.

Hard to say what happened v JAX. Career journeyman Henne came in and must have done something radically different than what they gameplanned for.
As far as the DET game goes losing Joseph when you're going up against the best WR in the league would explain a lot, as Calvin was THE key to that game.
I'm holding for now - they need Joseph back, but they have a long week to let him rest up.

He played in Miami for about three, maybe 4 years but they just let him go after he was injured and they picked Tannehill, not sure you can call him a journeyman just yet.
Honestly, their defense might be droppable. Depending on how they go to play the Titans, but they have had a bunch of injuries that seems like its catching up with them. With JJ, they got burned by Blackmon. Without him, they got burned by Megatron. No difference and they just dont look as good as they did earlier in the year.

If there is one game you want to hold them for, its that home game against Indy. Could pay off big time.
