I don't know if this thread should be made/belongs here but what are your thoughts on who will be the top five taken next year? Assuming no major injuries happen.
1. Foster - Obvious
2. Martin - Maybe he doesn't belong this high but you can't deny what Martin has done this year. ( Martin Owner, so biased)
3. Peterson - He is obviously a freak and the injury did not slow him down at all.
4. Rodgers
5. McCoy/Rice - Depends if the new coach of the Eagles will actually use the best player on that offense. Cameron's horrible play calling hurts Rice.
Have Rice on one team and McCoy with Martin on the other. Rodgers will probably be 1-2 though but these are how I would rank the top five.

Funny cuz I was just talking with some of my friends about this as well. Don't take this the wrong way, but are you a new fantasy player? I don't know many veterans who would take one season of stats and use it to project a runningback over Adrian Peterson. I was extremely high on Dougy this year, had him projected several picks over Trent and would have taken him in the late 2nd/early 3rd if I didn't get a pick I liked more so I understand the love, but you just can't do that man. Foster is doing very well, but his YPC this year and general lack of prior explosiveness prevent me from justifying the pick over AP next year. Then again, most of this can also be attributed to my AP bias...
Bottomline, AP is the best runningback in the world and it's really not even close so it'd be hard to see you going wrong with him #1 overall.

Someone will take RG3 and rodgers in the top 5.
I see it as:
Rodgers
AP
Foster
RG3
5 spot is up for grabs between Rice/Mccoy/Martin/Megatron

Foster and AP should be 1/2 for sure. 3-5 could be anyone of these players: Rodgers, Manning, Megatron, Green, Rice, Martin, Brees, and possibly a few others I am forgetting.

D. Martin
Megatron
AJ Green

Yeah, I am a new fantasy player and like I said I own Martin, so I am biased but I know AP is a beast. Like I said, those are just my thoughts and everyone differs. Probably by the time the season starts next year though, I will be thinking differently.

Yes I left off Foster. Could be James Wilder'd this year with the amount of touches he's getting.

I can almost guarantee that anyone taking Rg3 that high in the first will be disappointed in next years performance.

Will RGIII be next year's Cam Newton? I called Cam's slump before this year, but I'm not so sure about RGIII. I don't expect him to keep up this pace, but I don't expect such a steep drop off either.
10 man 2QB league: 7-7. 4th place out of 10. Week 15 lineup:
QB1: Ben Roethlisberger
WR1: Victor Cruz
WR2: Randall Cobb
WR3: Denario Alexander
RB1: Arian Foster
RB2: Bryce Brown
TE: Martellus Bennett
FLEX: Pierre Garcon
QB2: Colin Kaepernick

To an extent I agree, don't think it'll be as large a drop as Cam but I still don't think he'll be 1st round material. People try and say things to me like 'have you seen Griffin throw though?! He's making some massive throws with accuracy' etc., to which I simply reply did you see Cam last year?
I'd want a couple of years of consistency before getting on board with a high pick. Too many other reliable options in the first.

Here is a veteran that would rank Martin as an A1 first round pick. The reasons are he has (1) Health (not so for AP), (2) A 3 down job, and (3) Catches Passes. Of course he has a great line and talent too. But its the combination of his youth, talent and situation that makes him someone you want. If I get AP, Foster, Rice in Rd1 I am a hapy camper.
One thing no one has mentioned is that Foster is not signed.

RGIII will regress some, pretty much any QB will who's been as perfect as he's been, but he looks to be a MUCH better passer than Newton was last year. Newton has the tools to be a good passer, but not the smarts, and the majority of his points came from rushing.
The thing I worry about with RGIII is that he's never really had many games where he had to throw a lot of passes. They seem to keep him protected a bit and it works great but things won't always be that easy. Also he is performing great with a random mishmash of player on offense, they need to get him weapons to improve. Carolina and Cincy didn't really add anything to their offense after last season, and even though Washington spent big money on WR's last year, they should be looking at more or looking to upgrade the TE position since Davis will be walking next year.

I thought Foster signed a contract extension, something like 5/35 but I could be wrong?
