We somehow overlooked this guy in our threads lol, is it because he's been so solid?

He's putting up slightly lower rebounding numbers, manly due to Zbo, but there's nothing wrong with 5 assists from a big man.

i think there was a pau vs marc thread in which he was being discussed, but yea, he's been very solid this season. rebounding down to his regular average with z-bo, but he's more so improved as a real life player than in fantasy.

Having missed out on the Marc Gasol train this year (despite being one of the heaviest proponents of him in the offseason), I just have to say:

A CENTER SHOOTING .900+ FROM FT AVERAGING MORE THAN 5 ATTEMPTS?!??!?!?!?!!??!

I knew I wasn't crazy when I thought he'd be a better fantasy play than Pau this season!

this guy is such a good real life player.....i really think hes one of the best centers in the league.

every time i watch him, he is just so damn consistent.  doesnt turn the ball over, hits his shots, can hit ft at a high clip, and is a force defensively.

has zero flash, is a chubster, but man this guy can play.

Call me crazy, but I see memphis beating okc this year.  Gasol is a big reason why.

You heard it here first.

I'm glad you mentioned this. Just moved Pau for his little bro.  I was wondering why he was ranked in the top 10 right now so I looked at his rebounding #'s <_< and then I looked at the FTA and FT%.  Yao Ming like, maybe less attempts. I don't care about the rebounds when my center is shooting 52% from the floor, 90% at the line, and dropping off 4-5 assists per game.  This is exactly why I laugh at the Demarcus hype when you got hardworking guys like the Gasols, putting in work in the post. Marc def. does look more improved this yr.  He looks lighter on his feet, dropping back with fadeaways and spin moves.  His court vision is pretty insane too; mid-range looks money.  Who would be an upgrade from Gasol?  I'd consider moving him for Jefferson and Love mainly then Aldridge next.

Love his passing skills, superb fundamentals too when you watch him. Big guy that averages almost 5 assists right now and 90% free throws.

I'd say close to 80% which is still excellent for a C. I'd like to see the rebounds closer to 9-10 though and upping the blocks to last yr's numbers would be money.

I would definitely love more rebounding numbers as well, but not sure how possible it is with Zbo down low as well

It'd be great to get more boards from him, but the assists and FT% more than make up for his deficiency in the rebounding department.

He's shown in the past that he's totally capable of being a productive rebounder. It's just difficult to grab anything with Randolph on the court.

4.4 assist per game. He's like a Mini-Lebron. Wait, no a big-Lebron.

hes been amazing...thing is, some people drafted him for rebounds. should be easy to work around, though, considering he gives u elite stats across the board.

I just mad a move for him. Hopefully he either: A) keeps up his ridiculous FT%, or B) ups his rebounding in a major way. Doing both would be incredible for my team.

So what happened today? I didn't get to catch any of the game. He shot well but ended up with only 2 boards and 0 assists.

I only caught the 4th quarter.  Foul trouble caused him to miss time in the 4th.  Looks like Zbo was stealing all the defensive rebounds again today though.

It's going to happen occasionally as long as Zbo is healthy.  It's frustrating how often he holds his hands back and concedes defensive rebounds to Zbo.  He's actually picked up his rebounds significantly this month though.

He still played 30 minutes in the game. Hard to figure out how his line was so empty. I understand that he isn't going to consistently put up big rebounding numbers but only 2? And no assists to go along with it?
