I wouldn't start him. Must start v. HOU next week though

Can't even get Ankiel out? Who's dumb idea was this?  Ugh...

That's the only hit I saw, it was as cheap as they come, a little dribbler right where the SS should be but of course the shift was on so its a two run single.

That's what he gets for not being able to strike out the human strikeout.

Watching him pitch explains more and more why the Braves traded him away.

Astros making a lot of people look foolish right now in the stream game. Until further notice I only start proven guys against them. The only thing Hanson has proven over the past couple years is how volatile he is.

to me it just looks like hanson has completely lost his stuff. When he came into the league he missed a lot of bats. He doesn't miss many these days.

81 pitches through 3 IP.  Typically inefficient.

He had the lowest percentage of QS last year.  In fact, it was the lowest QS percentage in several years and this covered hundreds of SP's.

I see very little reason for optimism with this guy.  His stuff has nothing.  He nibbles like crazy and walks a lot of batters.  It is very easy to steal bases against him.  Injury risk.  And his FB velocity has never recovered.

They beat up Maurer, Beavan and Hanson, 3 of the worst arms in the game.  The Astros suck and should continue to have most arms in the league thrown out them.  But what this taught people was you can't throw bottom 10 MLB arms vs. them and expect great starts.  Even the Astros will beat up some crappy pitching every now and again.

The Braves are a very smart organization and they flat out gave Hanson away for a reason.  He sucks.  He never made it made it back from a shoulder injury.  His stuff is now some of the worst in the league.  He should be owned in 0% of the leagues, not even AL only.  He has nothing left in the tank.  I wouldn't even consider him until I saw he went under the knife and got a new arm.

Well, I just picked him up for a stream tomorrow at home vs BAL.  He's been decent of late and that's a nice pitchers park.  May god have mercy on my soul.

Someone needs to teach Hanson how to hold runners. 3 steals and Ianetta never even had a chance to throw on any of them. I don't think Hanson even looks at the runners most of the time.

hanson needs to watch a lot of video of his former self. He's just completely lost it. He isn't even a glimmer of what he used to be.
