Anyone think this guy deserves a roster spot on a 12-team competitive league?  I am thinking yes.  Thoughts?

He's not just blocks- it's Rebs and %s. And he's starting and playing over 30 min/game.

I just picked him up in my 12-team (14 player) league.  He's a solid frontcourt complement to Monroe and I see him maintaining 28+ minutes per game.

So is he firmly entrenched at the pf position? I assume if he keeps the blocks up, that makes up for Monroe's swatting defincincies, which means continued playing time for maxiell going forward.

But he is doubling his career avg in blocks. Experts please way in, is this sustainable for him?

The question are the blocks. No one is thinking he can actually score.

And he can't shoot FTs. His line looks DeAndre Jordan-esque. Looks rosterable for now with close monitoring

Jordan is making 45% of his FT attempts, Maxiell makes 67%

Max will not hurt in any particular area and would provide good rebounds and blocks for a bench player.

He's just learning the block game, I don't think its flukey, since he's had a number of multi block games this season so far.

Main problem is when they are getting blown out, he will not get as many minutes.  Maybe bench him in daily leagues when they play a strong opponent.

He makes my roster as a stream with upside.

Round numbers are funny- if he made 2 more FTs tonight (a big "if" I know) it's 20 points with the 6 blocks and everyone is all on him.

I LOL'ed when I saw someone refer to him as being a drain on FG%, all because of the bad game on Monday. The guy is 50% for the year and 51% in his career.

He's a nice player who can fill a role off the bench as long as he's getting these kind if minutes.

This guys last two games have been BRUTAL! Hes still getting minutes but last two, hes done nothing with them. Havent watched the last two games but it sure seems odd the lack of production, especially in terms of rebounds/blocks as hes not a guy you count on for points.
