I guess I’ll tentatively leave him in and make a decision before game time.

Maybe he gets HBP with bases loaded and gets a cheap RBI. 0 for 3 with RBI is not good, but at least it’s something.

EVERY year there seams to be that one young player who just can't hit the ball for the life of him.  This isn't a normal slump either, he's hitting .179 in 122 ABs.  Last year I had Hosmer who basically did the same exact thing.  This is why for every "breakout" player you need to be careful relying on these young kids to be your main starters.  This kid really looked like he had some talent, and I'm not saying he won't turn it around or his career is over, but this is getting very ugly this season quickly. And this is on the heels of a pretty poor first full season also last year.  While he wasn't horrible last year, everybody was taking this VERY high.  Just hasn't lived up to the hype, and really hasn't shown much since his 2011 callup.  Very disappointing- Like somebody else mentioned, I will be playing Chavez against all righties now and this clown can play the rest of the games for me.

I drafted him late in the 6th round ... I figured 2012 was the baseline and I needed a 3B. Plus nothing else was really exciting. Dumb.

Missing out on picking up machado for this guy is really haunting me. I'm staring at gyorko on waivers and thinking the time is now to make that move.

And the best part about dropping him is that hell be on the wire for a while. Had the same mentality with moustakas, hoping he wouldn't turn it on since I dropped him

2 hits! breakout game!

Haha not really.

I benched him. Prefer to eat all 0s at 3B tonight. I have 0 confidence in him.

It didn't even look like he was barreling the ball when they showed him hitting off the tee before the game with his siiiiicccckkkk red Beats by Dre headphones.  He looked very angry hitting off the tee.

One of those hits was a lucky bunt that if left alone by the 1b would of been foul... and it was during game where jays scored 12 runs... yea beastin

Funny.  Law & Hoss were just dropped in my league by the same owner.

Might have been me.

Sometimes a player needs those cheap hits to get going though. But in reality he isn't a good hitter still and I don't think this will be the start of a hot streak.

This bozo has yet to even steal a base.

Adam Dunn has a steal, for Christ's sake.
