His OBP is at .333 now.

That's nice....but he's still only walked once.

Yeah... like I said, I'd like to see him walk more.  But that wasn't the question.  The question was "any chance that he bats leadoff when aybar returns."  The list is long of guys who didn't take many walks sticking in the leadoff spot (see: Austin Jackson).  If a guy gets hot at the right time, the manager is likely to stick with him while things are "working".  By the way, Aybar's lifetime walk rate is worse than Bourjos's.

I'd agree...if the manager in question weren't Scioscia.  I think he puts Bourjos back in the #9 slot the first opportunity he gets.

Is Scioscia a sabermetric guy?  Isn't this the same manager who played Jeff Mathis and had Mike Napoli shipped out of town?

How has he looked so far? Can he sustain a high BA?

Why hasn't he even attempted a steal?  The other numbers are good, but his main appeal is a good number of SB with some power.

Or has he attempted steals and just been unlucky with a lot of balls put in play once he does so?

Many of the angels have lower than expected steals and it's cause of the bats that follow them. Albert has taken the stealing ability away from Trout and Bourjos. Been frustrating...

Finally stole a base. Hopefully there are many more to come. Hitting pretty steady too, I still like Bourjos's chances of being a decent fantasy asset.

left game in the 11th with a hamstring injury.
"The base paths belonged to me, the runner. The rules gave me the right. I always went into a bag full speed, feet first. I had sharp spikes on my shoes. If the baseman stood where he had no business to be and got hurt, that was his fault."

What a shame. Was unfairly benched early last year because he wasn't an overpaid vet and got off to a bad start. This year, he's playing very well and then this happens

I don't see how he avoids a DL stint and we all know how tricky these hamstring strains can be. Not a good injury especially for a guy who relies on his speed/legs
