Didn't see a thread for this guy. Any thoughts on him? He's certainly not a young guy (played for the Bobcats a while back) but I just took the flier on him to see if this production is legit. He's hit 8 threes over the past two games and if this isn't just a flash-in-the-pan, he has a shot at making an impact for teams in need of 3PM.

2 solid games. But i only see this happening since lowry and bargnani are out.

lowry should be back next week. unless anderson is plugged in at sg, i think hes worth the add.

but for now, its low risk and high reward.

Yeah exactly. I mean, no harm in grabbing him to see what he can do.

Looking at his gamelogs, he looks like all he is good for is scoring and 3's on bad percentages.

He doesn't steal or block, and barely rebounds or assists.

I think you'd be better off with other guys unless you're in a really deep league.

Personally, no. Green is safer and the chances of Anderson outperforming him are quite slim IMO. If you're in dire need of 3s, maybe worth considering but probably not.

I don't get any of this at all. He is a journey man. I am a Raptors fan and I think this is an error in judgement by RW and those who advocate adding him. You are better off streaming that spot if you are hell bent on wasting a roster spot.

I'm in a 20 teams deep league, so he was on my roster before got injuried. He was starting after Larry Fields was injuried. With AB out for 1-2 months, he will be one of the main scorers on Raptors.

haha no I don't think so. I just don't see the fantasy appeal is all. He is playing really well though, I cannot deny that, but this is absolutely as good as it gets. He is so much better in real life than fantasy. He makes a lot of clutch plays and does all the little things and the dirty work Casey likes. He is all over the place it seems. Not to mention he has that blue collar mentality and hustles on every play. I may be judging too much on pedigree but he is only a temporary add at best in my book.

Not to brag, but I recommended him as a spot start last night in the daily pickups thread. Totally got lucky, I know. If I had known he was a 30-year-old journeyman, I would not have picked him up. But he looked fantastic tonight, and has been putting up decent stats. I could see the Raps going with DeRozen at SG, and Anderson at SF as a starter. Btw, DeRozen looked putrid today on offense, but had to guard Durant on defense. This team played hard against OKC and was competitive until the 4th Quarter thanks to Alan Anderson, and Amir Johnson today.
My team:
G: Lowry, Jrue, Kobe, George Hill, Shved, Shumpert
F: Pau, Matthews, Gee, Wilson Chandler, Odom, Alan Anderson
C: Tyson Chandler, Hawes, Favors

4 consecutive and 14 out of 19 double digit scoring outings, is he the go-to guy for the Raptors? Can he keep it up when Barg comes back?

This dude is actually really talented. Reminds me a lot of Marcus Thornton/Jason Terry. He is aggressive and can attack the hoop and stroke the J. Looks like a nice find by the raps. Great instant scorer off the bech..

he is not a gifted scorer, hes a straight up chucker and almost all Raps fan hates him. He thinks hes Kobe out there, iso-ing and going one on three every time he touches the ball......Tor is not going anywhere and a 30 year old D'League journeyman should not be taking minutes/shots away from Terrence Ross. Knowing Colangelo though, he will probably sign Anderson to a 3 year 30 mil contract
