Who do you think is a candidate for a big bounce back year?

There is no shortage of players that underperformed.

Larry Fitz, LeSean McCoy, MJD, Matt Stafford, Greg Jennings, Michael Vick, Ryan Mathews, Jonathan Stewart, Eli Manning, Jeremy Maclin, Demarco Murray, Antonio Gates, ect...

Who on this list or of any of the dozens of unnamed under performers will have a bounce back year in 2013.  Would you draft them at the same value they had this year or are you adjusting your board?

I'm big on MJD next year. He's still only 28 years old and should be a nice value pick.

Dwayne Bowe, with or without a new team.  With Chiefs, assuming they use their #1 pick smartly and draft Geno Smith.  Without, any team that has a decent QB (Miami?)

If Dwill ends up somewhere else, i'd be looking at him as a prime candidate to bounce back. This guy is a seriously good running back.

Murray, MJD and McCoy shouldn't be on the list, they were just injured.

Before Murray's injury he only rushed for over 45 yards twice and one of them was the game he got injured in.

Before Murray's injury he was averaging 4.3 YPC which is well below his career 4.8 average and he scored a combined 4 TDs on the season.

MJD was injured so you got me there.

Jacoby Ford.

Injury doesn't exclude someone from consideration. It commonly is a reason FOR their consideration.

Agree but will add that Bowe will almost assuredly be on another team and will thrive if paired with a solid QB.  MIA, IND, CAR, STL would be ideal destinations but who knows how this will play out.  Bowe is one of the more talented WR in the league and at the peak of his career and will easily produce top 10 fantasy #'s with the right QB in the right system.

Three bounce back WR's will be Nicks, Bowe, and Jennings. It's the reason I'll be loading up on two stud RB's and a QB.

Really?

Nicks - ankle still bothering him. Will never be a top fantasy WR, although he will get you big weeks when he is healthy.

Bowe - no QB to catch passes from.

Jennings - leaving Green Bay. Where is he going to end up? I also think he is past his best...

CJ will finish with at least 1200 yards. Nothing to 'bounce back' from.

I agree, it just seems like people are really negative about him. He might be a 2nd-3rd round pick. I am not saying he will fall that far, but there are a lot of RBs and stud WRs that rankers will put ahead of him because of safety. Fantasy Experts try to play it safe in preseason rankings. Otherwise you get this backlash like Rotoworld is getting about DMC and RM.

Bowe is a free agent just cause he has no one to pass to him now doesnt mean he wont when he signs with another team.

Jennings is known for not dropping passes, in the Packers system he is subbed out alot but if he goes to a Minnesota or Chicago I could see him topping the charts next year.

I can't defend Nicks dude gets hurt every year for several games.

Depending on what the Lions do in the offseason Stafford could have a bounce back year, Best too if he is healthy.

Antonio Brown if Mike Wallace walks.

Hernandez the end of the year production is things to come.

um I almost guarantee the player to win comeback player of the year was someone who was injured last year....
I.E. AP and Peyton Manning
And without McCoy's injury he still sucked....while he did pretty consistently put up DECENT numbers he didn't post one 20 point game in my league, and the first two time Brown starts he gets 10 points more both times than McCoy's best outing so I think he definitely qualifies to  be a bounce back player.
My top candidate will be either Bowe or DMC, they are both on the top end of the spectrum talent wise, and if Bowe finds himself with a good QB I would take him as a back-end WR1.  DMC on the otherhand I'm not sure why he did so poorly this year but if he spends a year in this system and ever figures it out, look out.
