Some hate for Phillips here. I realize he is on the decline as far as power and speed go ... but he is reliable, and will have Votto and Bruce behind him. Solid.

I would put him ahead of weeks, uggla and utley. all making it off new, potential or what they did do.

Agreed ... I'd probably put him ahead of Kipnis also, until he proves he can do it for a full season. Zobrist is sweet but he needs to stay healthy for a full year.
Zobrist became a regular starter for the Rays in 2009 and never played less than 150 games yet

He has 600 Plate appearances 4 straight years, averaging about 154 games a season over that span, no fewer than 151, has he ever even been on the DL?

I think Zobrist is generally undervalued for a couple of reasons:
1. People get scared off by 2010, is he gonna regress to a .235 10 HR guy?
2. The fact that it never seems the Rays have a solidified place for him I think gives the perception that maybe somehow they dont think he is that good and so we as fantasy owners somehow play this in doubt.  3/4 seasons this guy has finished in the top 20 AL MVP voting, while playing a scarce position.
Seems everybody's jogging or heavy into health s?&t, don't tell me that I otta get rolfed, cause I love Cajun martinis and playing afternoon golf-JB from we are the people are parents warned us about

Yeah I just re-read that and was wondering why I typed that, ha. Thats what I get for being at work while mostly doing fantasy baseball stuff.

Zobrist is excellent, especially in OBP leagues. You don't get OBP like that out of most ss/2b
