Another one of those guys who has just been in the league for longer than people realize.  He will be 27 this year and has already logged 681 games at the major league level.

Last year in 2012 his numbers regressed from what he did in 2011.  He had a great start to 2012 but pretty much fell off the map in July.

Floor wise I have Asdrubal pegged somewhere between his 2011 - 2012 seasons.  With the upside to even out do his 2011 season of 25 HR and 17 SB.

I've had this guy for the past two years but am now losing him to auction in my league. He's really good when he's on. Definitely has top 3-5 SS potential for 20/15 with good counting stats. Also may be undervalued since he had a down year last year

Yeah I think he will go really late this year.

Anyone have any opinion on this guy?  He's like the last of the SS with any power who won't murder your average.  He really fell off a cliff last year after another hot start.  Is he just one of those boring Alexei Ramirez of a few years ago who will go 15/10/.270?  He is hitting 2nd in what is a decent enough Indians lineup so you would think he should put up good counting stats.

I think you could do a lot worse as him as your SS. This is a position where there is pretty good value later on draft wise. Him included.

It's been mentioned, but he's hitting at the top of a good CLE lineup & he's of the magical age of 27.

I kind of hate this guy. I had him last year I don't know why I drafted him again.  He goes through some dirty slumps.

It has been a real joy for me to own him and Kipnis to start the season.  I want to gauge my eyeballs out everytime I look at there stat lines.  Does not get much easier tomorrow with Price on the bump.

Hopefully it's a case of just getting some ab's (that's what I keep telling myself). He did miss quite a bit of the end of spring training.

I've watched a few Indians games and it seems like Cabrera is swinging the bat decently, with zero results to show for it.  Kipnis, on the other hand, looks absolutely terrible.  Terrible second half last year, terrible Spring, and now a brutal start to the season.

I just picked up Lowrie and plan on starting him over Asdrubal until he heats up. Cabrera has hit the ball hard a few times in this series, just right at people with really to show for it except the 1 HR

I wish I had that option. The problem is in deeper leagues there is literally absolutely nothing on free agents for SS so there is really nothing to do but keep on putting in Asdrubal and watch the 0-4's roll in day after day.  He just gets in these ruts where he is striking out like crazy and can't get a hit to save his life.

Reports say he lost 15-20 lbs but I'm not noticing a difference... then again I'm only looking through a television.

solo shot. Batted 3rd tonight which is awesome!! Kipnis struggling just as much as him (hence the lineup change) but both will get it going.

Every batter in the 3 hole has tremendous bonus value and the cleveland lineup is criminally underrated. he will now be hitting behind bourn and kipnis and ahead of swisher, reynolds and brantley. I'm too giddy

3 hole or 2 hole doesn't matter when you CAN'T GET A FREAKING HIT.

Whiff machine right now.  God he's been absolute trash ever since I have owned him post hot streak last year.

Just about done with this guy for anyone with a pulse I can find at SS.  Human windmill status.

That year where he hit a lot of bombs really changed him as a hitter for the worse.  He takes these giant home run cuts all of the time when he's a guy who should focus on spraying the ball to all fields and letting the homers come to him.
