Anyone notice they never call the 2 step travel anymore. I think its morphed into 3 steps over the years and its a shame

Its been that way for quite some time now. Someone needs to run across the court with the ball not bouncing in order for Traveling to be called.

Seems like it has been this way since at least the late 90's. And since no one calls it anymore, you just cant start calling it all of a sudden.

That was by far the worst travel I've ever seen.

They basically had to banish the traveling violation when Jordan became the face of the league.

You can't have the biggest star in the game turning the ball over ten times a night.

the changing/sliding of the pivot foot is never called, and happens on most possessions. double dribble is not called near enough either.

really, outside of the outrageous amount of charging calls and soft flagrants, the NBA is called more like a street game than a college or HS game(the way it should be called).

During Jordan's rookie year, he was frequently called (incorrectly) for traveling violations because his first step was so fast.  Only after the league reviewed these plays in slow motion did those plays get ruled correctly in his favor.
