But I think Kenneth Faried wins it. I didn't get him though.

i'd like to add jj hickson, who was floating around in one of my leagues. jordan crawford may end up being "one of those guys," maaaybe. so far, OP nailed it as far as generality, but in my league, i've seen some funny stuff, like some dink dropping brook lopez in week 2 on purpose. i can't remember who he grabbed, but i'm gonna go look it up and not delete any of this pretext.

haha, he grabbed evan turner. lot of suspect moves in there...

Wow I thought I played in a shallow league but most of the guys y'all are taking about were drafted/never dropped in mine. Top WW picks in mine were sanders, parsons, vuc and mwp. Guess owners in my league are more patient and dont drop studs.

I feel you. My league is 20 deep and I am now considering picking up Shumpert or Avery Bradley. Nothing on the wire!

I picked up Lou Williams off the WW early in the year. He was drafted then dropped after his slow start. He's been great for me. I also picked up Ed Davis when Bargnani went down. He's worked out well too. On the other hand, I dropped Ramon Sessions really early for Aminu. That one hurt.

Is this a thread in general for pick-ups of the year? or for our individual teams?

If it's in general, we should leave out the 6-10 team leagues, the crazy drops and the crap leagues where you have good players on the wire..there's no point

14 team league with a bigger roster. alexey shved. vazquez on ww in an 8 team league is dumb.

Really? All but those two? how many roster spots do your teams get?

i find it hard to believe that all but two on that list were drafted in a 10-man league and never dropped at some point this year.

Shallow huh? In ours i dropped EG picked him back up, hopeful on this one. Jose has been amazing for me 75 percent of the year. Dudley has to be upthere. Mwp. Patterson.

the guys above mention guys who are in standard formats. the true meaning of waiver picks are the oness not picked at all drafts 16 team deep. like aminu, larry sanders, meta world, maybe henson, derrick williams, blatche, valanciunas maybe, barnes, shved
