Two questions I would add if I were the survey maker: "How many owners in your league?" and "Approximately how many of those owners give up at some point during the year?"

I only got 3 questions allowed. :-(
Mine is a 12-team league. No one's given up yet, but $100 per team will do that to you.

I was surprised to see that commissioners actually has a cut on the pot. They don't do much except for the invitation. I'm a comm as well in a 16 team league.

When I was commissioner for private (football) leagues, I didn't take a cut. That was more meant for the Yahoo! or ESPN services.
I think CBS Sports takes a ridiculous 40-50% off the top.

hmm i dont see the reason of getting some tips 
I mean, i just put money on it so it will be competitive and the less chance of any managers would not complete the season.. I even put up a prize on the consolation games champ! hehe

How do you play in public yahoo money league without getting scammed? Curious, if I pay my fee and win is it all on honor that the commish will pay me?

If you want to avoid scams, play in a league with a commissioner you trust or in Yahoo public leagues (although get ready for your trades to be rejected).
Nobody asked this but stay away from fantasy on CBSSports. While the site is equally safe to Yahoo, it is a giant hassle just to get paid. On top of that, they take a huge chunk of money out on top.
Yahoo was simple, click on one link and the money was in my paypal account within two weeks. For CBSSports, they make you fill out a whole affidavit with copies of your personal documents. Then it takes forever to get your money. I won my CBS baseball league and I just got the check in the mail on Monday of this week.
