Im still feeling sick over this game. Id rather the Niners get blown out like it looked they were, then to comeback all the way and choke on 1st and goal from the 5 with Ngata out.

these two heartbreaking postseason losses in a row probably took a few good years out of my life :(
Yeah but you have to feel pretty good about where this team is moving forward, good cap situation, good core on both sides of the ball.  Ive said for last two years pass defense is a liability, good QB's WR's can shred their D if you give a little bit of time.  I heard Alex Smith and 1st rounder to Jets for Revis...if I were a Niner fan I would love that.  I think they need a corner upgrade or two...but other than that, really solid team moving forward, has to be NFC favorite again in 2013.
I agree,

I hear ya, try being a Vikes fan.

Here's the thing, if someone asked me what NFL teams would almost certainly make the playoffs for the next 3-4 years straight, the only team I would list with a high degree of confidence would be SFO.
from your mouth to Gods ears, but in football things are so volatile...especially in todays NFC.

also I think people forget but Justin Smith isnt getting any younger and without him playing well the D reverts to being mediocre, as secondary isnt masked anymore by pass rush. and while LBs are amazing, they cant consistently cover guys like Boldin.

at this point, I wouldnt mind spending a high pick to get Revis as a one-year rental.

Alex Smith and a 1 for Revis would be insane

9ers D would be unfair. The Jets would lose their best player for a mediocre QB. Definitely sounds like something the Jets would do.

Jets would probably want a bit more if revis signs a long-term contract, but problem is Niners have no money...but if Im the Niners Id be willing to give up a first for a rental and give Revis a chance to prove himself back on a good team. this team is built to win, and aj jenkins was a failure pick anyway.

basically if they dont try to get revis theyd better pick a secondary player or a DL in the first, or Id be extremely disappointed.

revis to SF would be insane.

btw, remember how SF was a "QB away" from dominating...well, they finally found their QB this year and the defense ended up letting them down.

imagine if last year's defense was this year's defense for SF....lights out.

'Lights out', just what the 49ers needed against the ravens. ;)
