It was just some dumb luck. He is ideal for the two spot in this lineup. I hope Freddie keeps in there the rest of the year and gives Heyward a shot at batting leadoff.

My hitters are 7 for 15 with a walk so far, but have 0s across all other stats so it wasn't just simmons.

Starting to realize that Jhonny Peralta is a much better option.

I dumped Simmons a few weeks ago and starting Peralta with confidence. Just not going to be Simmons break out year.

Yep me too. At the time of my draft Simmons was supposed to lead off while I THOUGHT Segura was gonna hit 8th.

Ultimate buyer's regret. Segura could be this yr's top SS barring a huge fallback to earth.

After sticking with him thru all those 0fers, I picked up Barmes to play SS today. I also have Ryu starting.

You Simmons owners make sure to start him.

Freddi Gonzalez and his conservative base stealing tactics is hurting Simmons' fantasy value. He rarely allows him to even attempt to steal a base. Last season we saw the same with Bourn. He didn't attempt as many steals as usual and we're seeing the same with Justin Upton.

Simmons has the potential to steal 20 bases. It would increase his value so much more.
