I saw rotoworld was hyping him up and the ADP is definitely in his favor. I doubt 24 HRs but his speed and upside make him worth the pick
Oh wow I didn't see that post. Practically the same time I put up mine. Last I had saw was the update from November.

Chris Carter - Cheap power, which is getting harder to find late

Brian Roberts - Starting at 2B in a strong lineup, no reason not to ride him while healthy. Going undrafted in most leagues.

Another monster day from Belt. Seems like I remember him having good springs the last two years too, can anyone confirm that?

Brandon Belt.  Finally has the 1st base job all to himself. Don't forget this post-hype sleeper is only 24 years old, and he's been raking so far in ST's small sample size. In his prime I believe he will be a legitimate 30-30 threat, and have him pegged for a 20-20 this season this year. He got 400 ABs last year but they were sporadic at best, and he never really had the full vote of confidence from his manager. If you haven't seen this kid's minor league numbers, do yourself a favor and check them out at Baseball Reference.

Projection:
.285/.365/.480 - 24 HR - 92 RBI - 80 R - 22 SB

Best part -- His ADP is 265.

30 SB for Belt?? Seriously? He got quite a few SB in the minors but it wasn't because he is fast, 30 SB is a reach if I've ever seen one.

good BA, 15-20 HR, 10-15 SB is what I think his ceiling is

The other part about Belt is the strong possibility he loses at bats to Possey. Also 30/30 seems like a stretch but could see 20/20  as a ceiling this year.

Didn't deter me from picking him up of the FA list, but it is something to keep in mind.

Agree, 20/20 seems more likely his ceiling which is not bad at all. Especially if he fixes the obvious hole on his inside hitting and hits .280+ this season.

later in the year, for those that wait on catcher ...

don't forget d'Arnaud in NY. Should be hitting behind Wright/Ike when he's called up. I'm just assuming he starts in AAA.

I have him at .355 OBP /20/10/80 RBI/60 R
Which plays nicely at OF. Is he still OF eligible? If he's only 1b, then that line sucks.
