How many D/G to roster?

I just drafted a hocked team on Thursday in a $20 league. I'm a big fantasy basketball+football player, but I really don't know much about Hockey besides (Crosby, Ovie, Stamkos and the NYR and NJD players). I joined anyway, and I could use advice. Here's my roster:

12 team H2H

C: Evgeni Malkin
C: Joe Thornton

LW: Logan Couture
LW: Max Pacioretty

RW: Martin St. Louis

D: Niklas Kronwall

There are 4 D spots and 2 G spots. I'm currently holding 5 Ds and 3 Gs. Should I change that? Any other feedback would be appreciated regarding my roster.

3 goatlenders is the perfect number. I normally don't do bench DMen but u have 5 good ones. Besides u have a bench C, LW,RW and that is important in setting a daily roster. nice team

Yeah your D are very solid. But with such a small bench you could get away with only having 4 d-men. Diaz's value took a sizeable hit when Subban came back into the fold, so maybe look on waivers to see if there are any forwards worth snatching. If you just drafted on thursday there may still be some hidden gems. Post a list of some of the players available and we can help you out. is it a yahoo or espn league? (guessing espn because otherwise malkin would be c/rw)

@airick, it's a Yahoo league 10 cat, but I just didn't list his C eligibility along with a few of my other players. Is 3 the right # of goalies to have? I used season ranks when I drafted, since the season already started and I don't know much about Hockey. So I tried picking guys who were highly ranked. Here are some guys that are on my WW.

Tomas Kopecky
Jamie McGinn

Should I replace any of my guys for any of them? And are there any players I should look for on the WW that I didn't list? Thanks a lot for the help.

I'd say you are set with your 3 goalies.  Brodeur and Backstrom should be able to carry you in starts even if Luongo falls into more of a timeshare with Schneider (the other goalie on their team that was re-signed in the off season as their "starting goalie of the future", but luongo is the hot goal tender now).

Do you ever use the "research" part of the stats tab when looking at the waiver wire?  You can see who the hot pickups are and check out where players are sitting on the depth chart.  Also maybe list a few of the guys who have the highest % owned just to get another feel of who's out there.
Are the names hodgson, conacher, Kassian, sam gagne, grabner, or tarasenko on the WW list?  they are all young guns with a lot potential.  I also have Plecanec on my team and he is very solid.  I would end up dropping diaz if you want to expand you offense.
