The guys in my league don't take his value for his current run. The best offer I have gotten so far was Trumbo for Halladay straight up. I had to laugh that one off.

Very limited downside... maybe BA, but we can all live with the .260 floor he has if he is hitting the bombs and driving in the runs.
Unless my roster was loaded with injuries which would dictate needs, I only see Trumbo as someone you trade for, not away.
Someone would really need to overpay me to pull Trumbo from me.
That's not to say he is going to be the best fantasy player out there, but his floor is so high and that's what makes him so valuable..

This is what I was thinking, if he follows last year's pattern his value will be looking at a down turn in the next month or so. I still think if you can get value like he has "turned the corner" you take it and let someone else roll the dice on the truth of that statement.

He's 27 and in the prime of his career. It's plausible that he's figured it out. I'll be damned if I let someone else profit. He was like a 10th round selection if he flops no big deal.

in a way am personally giving him a mulligan on those 2 months, think he was playing through a tough injury while the club just couldn't afford to give him rest never mind a dl stint- and like NCQB just mentioned, his mid round price range was a bargain, the kind I'll let ride and see what happens. The babip and hr/fb rate will go down but he can still be a very productive player, especially if the rest of the halo lineup starts to get itself together at all, Trout looks like he's ready to start rampaging, maybe he'll pull some others along with him

This is ridiculous. A younger Adam Dunn? Are you mad? Dude's BA has risen every single year he's been in the big leagues. Kid's K% the 3 years he's been in the bigs is 20.9%, 26%, 24.8%. Dunn has put up 30, 35, 34, and 32% respectively the last 4 years. 28% for his career which is about 6% higher than Trumbo's career mark.
Trumbo's averages .254 / .268 / .294 vs Dunn who is a career .238 hitter. Trumbo has NEVER hit .240. That's just ridiculous.
People are really lazy with their comps
