Glad I picked up Middlebrooks, but of course Trumbo has a big game on my bench. I've missed 5 HRs and 13 RBIs from him. Just brutal.

NEVER. DRAFTING. AGAIN.
You're television incarnate, Diana: Indifferent to suffering; insensitive to joy. All of life is reduced to the common rubble of banality. War, murder, death are all the same to you as bottles of beer. And the daily business of life is a corrupt comedy. You even shatter the sensations of time and space into split seconds and instant replays. You're madness, Diana. Virulent madness. And everything you touch dies with you. But not me. Not as long as I can feel pleasure, and pain... and love.

It happened again. You're welcome, everyone. If I keep benching him, he'll probably keep going off like this.

Yeah, really hoping this is the start of a little spurt for him.  That would be unexpected and awesome.  Please #44.

yeah....everyone shut up now. this guy isn't a top tier outfielder....he looks awful at the plate at times, and he's probably a 240-250 hitter from here on out. but you can't disregard the power numbers. 32 dingers and 90+ RBIs on the year already. i'll take those power numbers from my OF #2/3 every freaking year

I dropped him last week just so I could have a streaming spot. Haven't regretted it at all and he's still on the wire.

That's all it took, was me posting this last week... Luckily for me, I grabbed him again.

Dude is definitely playing like he's got a chip on his shoulder for being marked a "september slumper"

I really needed a day like this to make up for the stinkers that Beltre and Goldschmidt have put up lately.

Mark Trumbo has been bumped to the seventh spot in the order Thursday against the Rangers.
Trumbo is currently in an 0-for-27 skid. His batting average is down to .233 for the year.

Anybody know what the record is for non pitchers?

Luke Scott was like 1 for 55 or something ridiculous two seasons ago.

Edit: It was 0-41, his 42nd AB he hit a homer.

Moreso:

Scott finished five at-bats shy of the major-league record for a position player, which was set when Eugenio Velez went hitless in 46 at-bats between the Giants and Dodgers from 2010 to 2011.
