reese pretty much said "too much value" when they took Nassib
teams are giving up picks left and right for mediocre QBs so maybe they can flip him for more picks in a couple years.

I understand the Pugh pick (OL aging and they need to get younger there) and the Hankins pick (run D was horrific last year and great great value in round 2).
The Moore pick might turn out to be the best pick in the entire draft. This kid has JPP written all over him. Guy is a freak and considering how dominant he was in the SEC at 20 yrs old is scary.
It was a very good draft in retrospect. But part of me cant get over the fact that they could of had Ogletree, Arthur Brown, and Moore to revitalize that D for years and years.
Nassib pick was good move (heir apparent to Eli or trade bait) and the late picks all have upside.

If they had taken Moore @ 19 I would've been ok with it.
The guy is a stud pass rusher ... good thing for the Giants he ran a slow 40 time. Still can't believe he dropped so far.

So, I honestly thought the Bills were going to grab Nassib based on the previous relationship with the coach there.
No problem with what the Bills did in drafting Manuel, but I think their passing on Nassib made everyone gun shy.
While I do not think he is NFL ready today, I do think backing up Manning and learning from Coughlin are going help this kid grow reasonably quickly.
Maybe (and hopefully) the Giants never need to lean on this kid early in his career.
If anything, Nassib can become a tradeable commodity in the short term or, longer term, become the Giants starter in 4-5 years.
That is some understated value for a 4th rounder.
FWIW, I like that Pugh and Nassib were teammates at 'Cuse.
