EDIT:  As a reminder, this thread is for picks only (blurbs by the owner on why they took the player are fine - but not mandatory).  MOST IMPORTANTLY - no replies/discussion on the picks made - that's over in the other Mock III thread.

For the format that works best - refer to the method used in past Mock Drafts (draft boards, not team boards) - here's the Mock II Round 19-20 page as an example....  (copy/paste draft board and add your pick, and if you want, your blurb - which is not mandatory - note the picks made by leaving targets with others, or brief posts when on phone...).

Once you've finalized details - have fun!

Mike Trout - only considering him and two other guys (who I will not name drop since obviously they weren't selected yet)... I'm going with Trout because of how good he was last year and he wasn't even called up until May. As the youngest guy of the three he has the most upside and could be even better!

1.08 (8) El Segundo - Prince Fielder - Besides the fact that he's my favorite player, Prince seems like the most logical pick here because he'll deliver great power numbers with BA, he's in a great line-up, and he's built up a solid track record of overall consistency. with the only real exception being variations in HRs, but even in a "down year" power-wise, he's good for 30. With close to a .300 BA, he deserves the #8 spot.

2.05 (17) elsegundo - David Wright - This is kind of a 'safe, boring" pick, and in a way I hate defaulting to Wright mainly because he's a Met, but also because he's had a few injury issues in the past. Last year he certainly proved he was healthy though, and I don't see, at this point in the draft, where else I'm going to find a reliable 20/20 guy who will give me close to a .300 BA and other good counting stats to go with it. 3B doesn't look too strong this year either, and that was what ultimately decided it for me.
