It's a 20 team keep forever dynasty league. 10x10 H2H scoring...

I gave up:
Ellsbury, Choo, Jennings and Latos
I received:
Stanton, Teheran and Matt Moore

The guy said it would take a lot to get Stanton and I payed the price. I needed a little more power. I have Marte and Harper as my other OF keepers. I felt I could afford to give up this package. What do you all think?

Well, you may have given up "too much", but it all comes down to what you want... if you want a player bad enough and feel the trade can help you for the future, then you do it! Matt Moore isn't at Latos level at this point, but he will be soon enough.

I think you did fine, Stanton is going to be amazing, he hit 37 home runs in 120 games last year. Sometimes in a dynasty it's about getting the best player in the deal and living with them for the next 10 years.

It's not like Moore is a slouch either! I like it.

I like Matt Moore a lot, not so much on Teheran. But overall sometimes the ends justifies the means, you got your guy and sometimes to get your guy you have to overpay a bit. You cant totally gut your team to get a guy, but this wasnt anywhere near that. I do like Choo a lot, I think he is going career high HR in GAB and going to be top 2-3 in runs scored in National League if he stays healthy.

I have this conversation all the time with a good friend of mine who is in our league, but refuses to make trades with some owners who are tough to deal with because he simply wont make a trade if he doesnt think its absolutely equal or slightly in his favor. Sometimes you have to overpay with some owners, its just the way it is.
Seems everybody's jogging or heavy into health s?&t, don't tell me that I otta get rolfed, cause I love Cajun martinis and playing afternoon golf-JB from we are the people are parents warned us about
