That being said, I got stuck with him in one league as my starting 2B, and I actually don't feel that terrible about it.

2nd half:
.261 (in line with previous 3 year avg), 13 HRs, 51 runs and 10 SBs.
He's a little bit of an injury risk but with the other 2nd baseman he's been lumped with (Walker, Utley, Espinosa, Uggla, I'd take Weeks over them. The power/speed combo is attractive. Just hope he can stay on the field.

As someone who's torn ligaments in my ankle twice, I can tell you all that severe ankle sprains are one of the hardest things to get back to normal. Took about a year for me both times to feel like I could just play (meaning run and react and not feel the ankle or think about it). Roenike even talked about Rickie playing through the pain and having to deal with it.
Rickie talked about doing a lot of agility and flexibility work over the offseason to try to prevent injury this year. IF he's healthy, he's one of the best power/speed guys at 2B, and he scores a ton of runs in that lineup, and posts very strong OBPs for those in OBP leagues.

No doubt. My God this guy looks horrible right now. He's been awful since Aramis got hurt. Perhaps they should try moving him out of the cleanup spot, cause he's been a human windmill this whole week.

20 homers, 20 steals out of 2B. Will hurt your OPS but there's only one Robinson Cano. You're not getting a ton of value out of 2B.

Yep. Second base is so incredibly shallow that you just leave Weeks in your lineup and collect the paycheck at the end of the season...

Last year he did this until like late July. God I hate these guys who put up 80% of their stats in two 10 day hot streaks and SUCK the rest of the year. It's like 80% of the league.
