Whats the deal with this guy? Does the trade help him or hurt him? I am rooting for this dude to be successful. Any thoughts?

I think he is just an mediocre fantasy pitcher. In an NL-only he can be valuable during stretches, but I would only really want to stream him in a mixed.

Not much to see here. He's going to get extremely little run support on that team. He's not going to cross double digits in wins. He may put up respectable ERA/Whip numbers, but his value is going to be greatly diminished because of the lack of wins.
11 team NL only auction league. $260 cap. Roto scoring. OnRoto. Keepers in black.

At best he is a young innings eater type on a bad team, look at his ML stats, not much upside here.

He passes the eye test. He throws hard with movement, almost too much movement sometimes. For some reason I keep wanting to compare him to Homer Bailey and we all know it took Homer awhile to have big league success even though he has great stuff.

I'm not reading much hype on this guy since the trade from LAD to MIA.

I really do like his upside and think he could be a good last pick in your fantasy draft.

Is anyone else high on him?

Fantasy boner? Lol

But as for eovaldi I think he can be a solid sleeper in deep leagues if he can improve his k rate.  Same goes for Turner/alvarez

He had pretty bad walk rates in the minors with mediocre K rates.  Put him on a team that is going to be awful and I don't see much hope for mixed league value.  Maybe NL only.  Throws hard with a nice slider but his change up sucks.  That will probably be the key to his eventual development.
