Since we are just after the All-Star games, I figured now would be a good time to see what everyone thinks of player values for the rest of the season in standard 8-cat leagues. These rankings should include fantasy playoffs as well as the rest of the fantasy season. Please make these objective independent from your fantasy basketball roster or favorite team.

Just for reference, here is ESPN's Brian McKitish's Top 25, which is posted weekly as an ESPN Fantasy Basketball headline:
(1) Kevin Durant
(2) LeBron James
(3) Chris Paul
(4) Russell Westbrook
(5) James Harden
(6) Stephen Curry
(7) Kyrie Irving
(8) Nicolas Batum
(9) Kobe Bryant
(10) Carmelo Anthony
(11) Serge Ibaka
(12) Paul George
(13) Dwyane Wade
(14) Marc Gasol
(15) Josh Smith
(16) Jrue Holiday
(17) Brook Lopez
(18) Paul Pierce
(19) Brandon Jennings
(20) LaMarcus Aldridge
(21) Rudy Gay
(22) Ty Lawson
(23) Damian Lillard
(24) Greg Monroe
(25) David Lee

Here would probably be my top 25:
(1) Kevin Durant
(2) LeBron James
(3) Chris Paul
(4) James Harden
(5) Stephen Curry
(6) Kyrie Irving
(7) Russell Westbrook
(8) Kobe Bryant
(9) Paul George
(10) Carmelo Anthony
(11) Dwyane Wade
(12) Marc Gasol
(13) Nicolas Batum
(14) Serge Ibaka
(15) DeMarcus Cousins
(16) Jrue Holiday
(17) LaMarcus Aldridge
(18) Rudy Gay
(19) Ty Lawson
(20) Tony Parker
(21) Joakim Noah
(22) Paul Pierce
(23) Josh Smith
(24) Brandon Jennings
(25) David Lee

What are everyone's ROS rankings? Remember this is 8-cat only (PTS, AST, REB, FG%, FT%, 3PM, STL, BLK).

IMO I'd have Carmelo over Curry. Irving is really really coming on, so it's a toss up between Melo and Irving with me. Also, if Lebron keeps up his pace, I'd have him at #1 (Miami's slightly better playoff schedule helps that too).

Parker has been top 15 for 8 cat thus far. The big 3 will probably get some rest, but I'm pretty sure their young guys are fine.

Doubt it. His stats been insane with Duncan out. His last 20 games has been ridiculous and it literally requires him to have those types of stats to boost him to top 25 due to his lack of rebs, 3s and steals. I would throw blocks into there too since we actually see some PG's with blocks now-a-days. So in 8-cat, Tony Parker rarely ever gets into top 25 because of that.

You doubt Parker is top 25 this season? He's averaging 20.8 points, 7.6 assists, an insane 53% FG for a PG, chipping in 83% FT along with 3 reb and nearly a steal. If that isn't top 25, then I don't know what is. Sure Duncan was out a few weeks and Pop is notorious for sitting his "big 3", but I don't see why he can't keep it up and you are delusional if you don't think Parker is in the top 25 this season.

Also, 3 rebs and under 1 steal is not that great lol..

Those are negatives towards his value.

He's currently ranked 17th on BBM in 8 cat. He only played in 7 games without Duncan, so it's not like he had an enormous lift to his rankings from those games. He's surely going to rest a couple games towards the end of the season, but you can't justify saying that he won't continue playing the way he has this whole season. I'm sure he'll be ranked around the low to mid 20's in the second half.

15 when I checked.

I never tried justifying it.. How are you going to justify your opinion?
Aren't we all making assumptions and predictions right now? I gave my reasoning and if you don't agree, feel free to say something to counter it.

Please no more assumptions about my position and calling me delusional though. <_<

In terms of rankings, they are negative. Sorry if that was a little confusing. It's just what I see from bbm. But in terms of totaling up your stats, of course it'll be added positively.

He's a borderline call for top 25 if he did not get rested...the reason he's not elite is only cuz his steals and 3s are so low.
