Looks like he's going to void his final year with the Rams and possibly test the market.  As a life long fan of SJAX, really hope he can go to a contender.  He's got a lot of miles on him but he's proved the past 2 seasons he still has it.

Maybe the Falcons? Packers?

Rams or Falcons. Either team he's going to split some carries with Richardson/Rodgers.

I see him getting his usual 1000 yards rushing, 6 TD's , 50 catches.

I think he could do better than that with more touches, but I just don't see that happening with his age/situation.

I'm not a stat-gazer but the Rams have struck me as a playing-from-behind, 3-and-out machine since Kurt Warner left. I tend to think a productive offense could and would lead to a significant uptick in production with or without a timeshare.

As someone with SJax/Richardson/Pead in a Dynasty league, I'm all for him going elsewhere!!!

Not to get too off topic but if Sjax does leave...who gets the lionshare of carries? Richardson or Pead? Richardson looked better but rumor is he wont be a three down back.

My money is on Sjax returning.  If he does leave I think Pead will get the lionshare because he truly is the better talent. I could see them grabbing a back in the 3rd or 4th round of draft as well if they dont believe in Pead.

Richardson can't run between the tackles.  He makes guys miss but doesn't fall forward.

True that Sjax may come back. He could just be opting out of that last year on his contract so the Rams will save money. Correct me if i am wrong but i think the Rams would owe Sjax around 7 mil this year per his contract. If he opts then the Rams are off the hook for that 7 mil and Sjax is free to resign with the Rams for a lower price. Rams save money, resign Sjax (maybe a 3 or 4 year contract), Sjax retires a Ram if he desires to, and the Rams can better use the money to improve team. Win Win Win.

I am a fan of Sjax and wish him success whether he stays in StL or goes somewhere else. The Rams owe it to him to let him stay and finish his career as a Ram...or let him go to a contender. Too many teams/owners are not loyal to their players, but then when a player holds out or requests to be traded, then the team bitches about the player. Certain players have earned the right to have a say in the team. Sjax is one of those guys in my opinion. Good luck Sjax.

It makes no sense for SJax to void his contract unless he wants out of STL. Why would he void a higher contract and return to a team that hasnt won in over a decade for less money?

It makes sense because some players have team-first philosophy. If you play for one team your whole career, would you not give them a home town discount? If, and I mean if, the organization has taken care of you, then you try to take care of them. I am sure Sjax is not hurting for money, if he is wise with his finances. A few mil wont hurt him. So he takes a pay cut to finish with his team. Understandable to me. May not be understandable to a CJ2K, Wallace or DJax who are all about the benjamins.

Maybe he's the nicest guy ever. Maybe he wants out of there for a chance to actually win a ring instead of continuing to waste away in STL, and for less money.

ATL has to be the frontrunner to get SJax.  Turner is going to be cut and the team will slightly overpay in order to show Tony G that they are going all in for another SB run.  SJax gets his money and plays for a SB contender - win/win.

Other teams that make sense are the Packers and Steelers.

Where do yall see his adp being in ppr leagues? He really hasn't been that spectacular the past two years so I think he could slide to the 5th-6th rounds 10/12 teamers.,

If SJax goes to ATL or the Packers, he'll be going in the late 2nd/early 3rd range in 10-12 team leagues.  People will definitely reach for him.
