My team needs a boost. We start 3 forwards, 2 defensemen, 1 goalie, 1 goon, and 1 team goals. My current roster is:
FOWARDS: Kane, Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Tavares, Clarkson
DEFENSEMEN: Letang, Souray, Greene
GOALIES: Price, Fasth
GOONS: Konopka, Clowe
TEAM GOALS: CHI, VAN
G, A, +/-; W, SO; PIMs; Team goals.
Im thinking of dropping Tavares (his +/- is killing me), Kovalchuk, Clarkson, and picking up Kesler, Ryder, and Perry, who was just dropped. Thoughts??

I would move D. Clarkson for R. Kesler or C. Perry.
V. Fasth is a good potential trade piece.
Otherwise, start your studs.

Since u only start 2 DMen I would cut Andy Greene and pick up Cory perry immediately. Or hope ur waiver is high enuff. I would also cut Clowe for kesler. Cutting Clarkson for Ryder is ok also but closer IMO.

My waiver should be high enough. I have to cut a forward to pick up a forward, and so on. Have to fill the slots, 5 forwards, 3 d-men, etc. my first move will be for Perry, Im thinking. Cut Clarkson.

Kesler broke his foot so u can ignore him. Either Clowe or Clarkson for Perry would be a huge upgrade.

Pick up Perry ASAP for Clarkson and leave everything else alone. Perry would be a nice add for your team

Either is a huge improvement. Perry has been on a hot streak, but Getzlaf is a more conistent producer.

Someone needs to talk me off this ledge. Waiver day is Sunday. Ive sunk to 7th in our 8 team league. Im seriously considering drastic wholesale changes. 16th year doing this league with the same guys. My honor is at stake here!! Thinking about dropping Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Tavares, and Clarkson. Picking up Getzlaf, Ladd, Perry, and E. Kane. Im getting nothing from my forwards. Tell me this is stupid, Im overreacting, its a panic move, something! But my ship is sinking....fast!

Hartz,
If you drop Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, or Tavares they will all be scooped up by other teams. You would just make the rest of your league stronger by releasing that kind of talent.
We've already told you to drop Clarkson. Pick up Getzlaf, Perry, or even E. Kane.
