Lost 6-4 overall. Categories I lost runs by 1, hr by 1, and rbis by 1. Only needed to win anyone of those 3 categories and the championship was mine as I had the tiebreaker

Terrible, you guys.

And the thing is for me, there are always a lot of ifs -- but the last one was if the A's had let Sonny Gray come out for the 6th inning (and he didn't give up four runs), I'd have won.

In one league, I managed to draft the NL batting champ (Cuddyer) in the 19th round, a Cy Young candidate whose season was cut a bit short (Harvey) in the 18th, an MVP candidate MI (Carpenter) in the 28th round, a guy who will get plenty of AL Cy Young votes (Iwakuma) as an FA after the draft, a top-notch power-speed-average combo (C. Gomez) in the 11th and ...

I finished fifth.

How the hell did I blow the first 10 rounds of the draft that bad? Major head-banging-against-desk for the opportunity I wasted in a sizeable money league.

I'll just add that I lost with a score of 95.5. That would be enough to win the vast majority of roto leagues, I bet.

Roto: What are the odds of Pettite throwing a CG, and 2 of my closers being active on Saturday? Right. So I hit my IP on Saturday, so I couldn't stream my 5 pitchers I had setup for Sunday. I had to start my closers, since I was leading the category by a single save. On a side note, I am not sure if it would have made a difference since I was 5 points behind the leader: I would have taken K from him, but you can never really estimate ERA and WHIP. Lesson learned: never, ever take any chances....

You're television incarnate, Diana: Indifferent to suffering; insensitive to joy. All of life is reduced to the common rubble of banality. War, murder, death are all the same to you as bottles of beer. And the daily business of life is a corrupt comedy. You even shatter the sensations of time and space into split seconds and instant replays. You're madness, Diana. Virulent madness. And everything you touch dies with you. But not me. Not as long as I can feel pleasure, and pain... and love.

Stupid St. Louis... they say Joe Kelly isn't starting so I bench him in favor of a reliever who could at least get me a save.  Turns out, Kelly's relief outing was exactly what I would have needed to win (1 K and 1 Win)

Started Sunday down 2-8 and lost 4-5.

Things that occurred Sunday:

- Lost HRs by 1, a tie would in HRs would've have given me the title due to tiebreaker rules. Had Miggy on my team, when was the last time he hit 0 HRs in a week? Granted he was injured, but you come to expect absurd performances from him.

- Tied Wins when Romo got the W instead of the Save. Would've won if Yu would've gotten the win, instead he was yanked at 84 pitches tied 2-2 in the 6th. Thanks Ron Washington.

Prior to Sunday:

- Picked up Porcello for Friday only to find out 3 hours later he was being moved to the bullpen.
- Picked up Kazmir on Saturday but just missed the start of the game. Was in the country with barely any signal so I wasn't able to spend time checking game times. That's on me but how did Yahoo allow me to pick up a pitcher once the game started?

To sum it up....FML

Whaaaa ... Maybe the scoring is different? Or different # of teams? Or the other owners are all dead? :D

Is this out of 100 points? If so that's crazy. I scored 93 points out of 100 and won by a mile...

Yeah I would like to know.

The max score in my league would be 120. 12 teams, 5 categories. Besides me and the first place guy, everyone was under 75.

Well, my team didn't show up for the SECOND year in a row. Won the title in 2011, then got 2nd place two years in a row now. ****ing sucks. so close to a 3 peat.. damn. I know my team would have won if Miggy was fully healthy.. he got me that #1 seed and left me out to dry. Not to mention Cespedes, Desmond no-showing in the finals, and J Up and Choo having weak weeks.

Thanks to all who post on this forums, ever since I've been a regular on these forums I've gotten 1st, 2nd, and 2nd place finishes in my money redraft league. This might not be the best thread for a thank-you, but it's whatever.. we all make each other much better managers. Cheers. Go win it next year!

Looks like one of my leagues, except mine is 12 team 6x6. Pretty competitive.

I guess that makes more sense with 14 pts available per category, but I imagine the have nots had very little indeed
