From your experiences, who are some guys who are notoriously streaky and will go on a big burst of production for a week or two then die off for a month or two?

Conversely, who are some consistent guys on which you can rely to put up at least decent numbers regularly?

To me, J-Roll, B-Up, and Uggla are very streaky and can help you win weeks by themselves sometimes.

For consistency, Miggy and some pitchers like Verlander and Kershaw can mostly always be relied on.

These are some obvious ones, but I'm interested in some "deeper" ones from you guys.

For streaky players, Jay Bruce and Troy Tulowitzki.  These two can carry your squad or bury your squad.

Pedro Alvarez comes to mind as a streaky player.  A-Ram and Mark Tex are known for being 2nd half players but Tex is injured so who knows?

My streaky list includes Josh Hamilton, Jay Bruce, Uggla, Mark Reynolds, Luke Scott. Aramis and Laroche are probably the two most notorious...

I know it's been said but if you were to look up "streaky" you would see a large photo of Jay Bruce.

it may be a fallacy but cespedes seemed to be streaky last year. might have been just me thinking it but there were times he did nothing for weeks then just explode.

Most "streaky" players go on hot or cold streaks for 1 or 2 weeks at a time.  For truly extended streakiness Alex Rios has to be the poster boy.  His streaks, both hot and cold, appear to last months and even up to half season long.

ARAM strikes me more of a very slow starter than streaky.

Ryan Howard, Carlos Pena, Alex Rios, Alfonso Soriano are feast/famine guys.

Honestly you would be better off creating a list of guys who AREN'T streaky.  Pretty much outside of the elite players, power comes in bunches for everyone. Remember Dayan Viciedo last year? Treevor Plouffe?  Random guys go on power binges then suck for months at a time.

Generally high power/high strikeout guys re going to be the most streaky.
