Is there a list of these guys?

This is purely on Yahoo platform.  I do not know the rules on other sites.  I know VMart has been mentioned for C on some platforms although Y! already gave that status.

- Matt Carpenter should gain 2B elig, which would give him 1B, 2B, 3B, OF
- Jurickson Profar, when called up should get 2B quickly (presently just UTIL, which is somewhat puzzling).
- Jedd Gyorko.  Will most likely get 2B elig though may have to wait with Headley's injury.
- Ian Kinsler.  1B?  This is speculation for when Profar comes up.

Who are other relevant guys who may gain eligibility?

Chris Carter and Brandon Belt are both 1B currently.  Carter is slated for LF so he should get OF by mid April.  Supposedly Belt will play some LF when Posey plays 1B so he should eventually get OF.

Jed Lowrie is SS right now but will probably gain 3B

Games started at a position need to be in the current year?

Carpenter started 0 games at 2nd last year I believe so then he needs to start 5 games there or play 10 games at 2nd to qualify?

What if he had started 4 games last year, does that mean he would only need to start one game this year to qualify or does the games start over?

For Y!, I think it is 5 games started or 10 games total.

Therefore, had Player A started 4 games, the counter would get reset back to 0 for this year and he'd need 5 starts to qual.

As an example, Pujols' 2 starts at 3B in 2012 do nothing for his potential elig this year.  He'd need 5/10 to get 3B.

Sometimes Yahoo is strange about pre-assigning eligibility for minor leaguers or grants guys a position despite not meeting the requirements the previous year (ie Profar, Vmart).

Well that hurts the Bautista at first idea, because I think he started 4 games at first last year.
