Well I just finished my 5th draft, with the only remaining draft a keeper. I always like these posts to see who your invested in this season.

These are MY "guys" for 2013

Out of 5 drafts (1 ESPN, 4 Yahoo) I own the following on multiple teams:

Jose Reyes x4 -- Yeah I am all in on Jose he'll be a 1st rnder next season imo.
Mike Cuddyer x4 -- Great late round value, solid across the board contributor.
Mike Napoli x4 -- Has been dropping in most my drafts wasn't someone I had to have but I do like his "price"
Jay Bruce x3 -- I don't see a big diff. between him and Stanton and I've been grabbing him in the 4th.
Encarnacion x3 -- Love him. see him as a top 16 pick next season.
Victorino x3 -- I like his overall mix of skills and his new home park. I was high on him last year too though.
Lawrie x3 -- The 1st guy that predraft I had no intentions of getting, but he just kept falling to me. Got him today with pick #120!
Teixeira x3 -- Just an endgame DL stash, wouldn't have owned him if not for the injury.
Teheran x3 -- Endgame SP target got him in my earliest drafts.
Dom Brown x3 -- Endgame post hype sleeper.
Fowler x2 -- I loved him last year, I'd be happy with a repeat.
Crisp x2 -- Love the speed and the price.
Butler x2 -- The guy just rakes.
Pujols x2 -- Took him @ 5 and 6, passed on him for Kemp @5 in another and regretted it immediately.
Aybar x2 -- My 8th ranked SS that comes with a 15th ranked price.
A. Escobar x2 -- My backup plan if I miss on Aybar, love SBs at MI.
Cashner x2 -- Was x3, but just holding in deeper leagues. Might have use as a SP elig RP in some leagues.
Gregerson x2 -- Street is what we call fragile.
A. Hill x2 -- Wanted him in every league, he's my 4th ranked 2B just narrowly behind Kinsler.
Prado x2 -- Wish I had him in more leagues, In Yahoo he is gold with 2B, 3B, SS, OF elig.
Berkman x2 -- When healthy he is as solid as they come, could be this years Beltran.
Belt x2 -- Bought into spring hype, not necessarily sold though.
Pagan x2 -- Severely underrated OF with speed.
Zimmerman x2 -- Deep lineup, in his prime, could be in for a big season. Just have a good backup.
Hamels x2 -- My #1 SP target he's closer to the big 3 than you might realize. #4 SP on my ranks.
Shields x2 -- A fantasy #2 at a #3 price. Like Hamels some bad luck seasons have him underrated.
Beckett x2 -- Endgamer with upside + move to NL this years Burnett?
Ryu x2 -- Been a big fan since the '09 WBC. Has underrated stuff and is a bulldog on the mound.
Lincecum -- Had zero intentions of owning him but in the 15th and 16th rnds as a SP4....ok.
Motte x2 -- Got him in my 1st two drafts, pre injury.
League x2 -- Paired him with Jensen in one league, missed him in the other.

Also worth noting is how few RPs ended up on multiple teams (only 3). I did have several targets but closers often went WAY ahead of ADPs in my leagues.

So?

Who you got?

I don't know how some people handle so many baseball leagues. I only do one a year. I'd say my guys this year are Gyorko and Prado. Middle infield is always tough, and I like these two to produce very well compared to their ADP.

Recently finished my 2 redrafts for this year and I'm not surprised at all that I ended up with quite a few of the same players. These were generally (there were more, but obviously can't get them all) the guys I found to be good value in comparison to their predraft ranking & ADP in ESPN platform after numerous mocks (and ultimately ended up with them on both teams).

Hitters
Jose Reyes
Freddie Freeman
Shin-Soo Choo
Ryan Howard
Salvador Perez
Dexter Fowler
Chase Utley

Pitchers
Jon Lester
Brett Anderson
Mike Minor
Julio Teheran

I'm on my phone and didn't want to quote the OP, since it's a long post. I agree with your thoughts on Jay Bruce and Domonic Brown, which is why I have them as well. I only have 1 team, so my guys are in my sig.

Out of my 7 teams, I have Ellsbury on five and Trout & Jesus on four. Tried to get Trout on every team I have, while the price on Montero was great for a guy who is going to hit everyday and qualifies at catcher.

Mike Trout (Yes, I have a #27 Angels jersey)
Hisashi Iwakuma (my last SP in all 3)

2
Joe Mauer
Paul Goldschmidt
Todd Frazier
Kevin Youkilis (I have no idea why as I don't care for injury prone players normally)

Leonys Martin
Jordan Zimmermann
R.A. Dickey (came cheaper than I thought he would)

3 leagues:

Batters:
VMart (x2)
Santana (x2)
Miggy (x2)
Tulo (x2)
Fowler (x3)
Profar (x3) - Starting as a 2B in ESPN, so 2B/SS eligibility would be awesome
Rutledge (x3) - Handcuff for Tulo
Love the Rockies players (and their park)

Pitchers
Dickey (x2) - Knuckleballer, what can I say.
Anderson (x2)
Holland (x2)
Pat Corbin (x3) - I hope he can break out
Mo (x2) - First time I've owned him in my four years. I had to have him once, even if it is the end of his career.
Robertson (x2) - Handcuff for Mo, sick K rate, and both leagues I have him in counts Saves/Holds
Something tells me I could easily beat those trained professionals. - Bender

Dickey and Wainwright in 2 leagues where I waited a bit on pitching.

Edwin Encarnacion in 2, the value was too good to pass up.

Ryan Ludwick in 2, good value and could post another big year.

Doug Fister in 3 leagues, again value and that Tigers offense.

Jimmy Rollins in 2, wasnt planning on this one!

Kyle Lohse in 2, got him off the wire or in the last round.

So?

Who you got?

It's funny Zumayaaa, I feel like I'm always agreeing with you on these forums. My list is pretty similar:
  • Pujols - he keeps dropping in drafts because he's old/injured, but he has such a ridiculous lineup around him
  • Votto - in OBP leagues (all mine are), he's such a beast. He consistently falls to the first picks of the second round in drafts (I draft him every year with like pick 12 or 13 in at least one league), even though he's a good candidate to be MVP in any given season.
  • Josh Hamilton - I can't quit him. Another dude I draft every year, on every team I can. Those few weeks in May were one of the best fantasy experiences ever.
  • Jose Reyes - Lots of value to be had here given his draft position. I think he's the #1 shortstop at the end of the season, and you can get him in round 3 or 4.
  • Mike Moustakas - Just a gut feeling that he breaks out this year. Post-hyper sleepers FTW.
  • Josh Rutledge - ESPN has him ranked ridiculously low.
  • Dexter Fowler - They're allegedly going to let him run more. Love lead-off hitters on potent lineups
  • Anthony Rizzo - Epstein acquired him. Twice. I'm buying.
  • Berkman - Berkman's gonna Berk hitting at the heart of a still-potent lineup. Don't know why he isn't being drafted earlier - Texas didn't suddenly fall apart when it lost Hamilton.
  • Yu Darvish - I think he wins AL Cy Young this year. He's really good, and you can draft him 3-4 rounds later than the other big guys.
  • R.A. Dickey - love the move. AL East is depleted this year and he gets to run through a bunch of lineups that have never seen his iteration of the knuckler. He also gets to pitch in a dome, which is awesome, since the knuckler is heavily affected by rain and humidity and his worst games over the last few years were under rainy or super humid conditions.
  • Jon Lester - He's being drafted around scrubs at this point. Don't think he's going to be great this year, but he's a safe bet to outlive his draft value.
  • Julio Teheran - he's legit

Playing in only one league/per year, "My Guys" are players I've had in the past who've performed enough to have me target them just about every year - - I have many of my favorites back on the squad:

Jose Bautista - One of my all-time favorite - - after a great spring and hot week in 2010 I hit the WW-Jack-Pot (early April) when all others were boo-hooing a year which would end with 54 HRs. With all the non-believers, I was able to snag him the following year in the 3rd Round. Fortunately missed out on him last year, but this year he is back - - we're both very happy about this. Look for a big year.

Nelson Cruz - Another favorite - - since I drafted him late back in 2009, Nellie has made it back onto my team in 3 out of 5 years - - purely for the potential of that 40 HR/.275 year that has so eluded him due to his roller-coaster, injury-plagued career. That, and he's lots of fun to watch when he's on one of his monstrous tears.

Starlin Castro - Other than missing out last year, Starlin has been on my team since I scooped him off the WW when he got the call to the bigs in 2010. The best SS for the money - - soon he'll be too expensive.

Aaron Hill - Waiver-Wire Gold back in 2009, en route to his 36 HR/108 RBI year, prompted me to draft him again the following year - - he hit .205 with 26 HRs. Awful. I was done. His showing in Arizona however has brought me back to him...how couldn't I bring back one of "my guys" after they hit for the cycle..TWICE? Think he found a home in Arizona.

David Ortiz - not that he's necessary one of "my guys" but I've had him on my team a few time, and this year he's eligible at 1b, plus going ridiculous late.

Others I hope become "My Guys" this year: Bryce Harper, Carlos Santana, Mike Moustakas, Ryan Howard (great spring and the value was too good to pass up), Jayson Werth

Pitchers
Jeff Samardzija - earned his "My Guy" status last year, and now he's back
Derek Holland - Third year in a row I'm rolling with Holland - - this is the year he does what I envision (Lefty)
Jose Quintana - see Samardzija...consistently awesome (Lefty)
Andy Pettitte - being a Yankee fan, he has always been one of "My Guys" - - happy to have him (Lefty)
Justin Masterson - This is my 3rd time in 4 years Masterson has made his way on to my team - - always liked him. When he's good, he's really good. The opposite is also true.
Philip Humber - was sold on him as a back-end rotation guy in 2011, where he was consistently pretty good throwing to a 3.75/1.18 WHIP. Then was probably one of only a few who had in him their line-up during his perfect game last year - - after that, we all know he was awful and dropped. After a dominate spring, I brought him back to see what he can do.

Hoping they become "My Guys": Julio Teheran, Alex Cobb, Jake Arrieta, Tommy Hanson
