Yes, I will stand by it. That's why I posted, to have a record come October.

Yanks might finish 4th or 5th in that division. They are THAT bad this year. They may not even be a .500 club right now.

With the age and all of the injuries, they will drop off like we saw Philadelphia fall apart last season and that Phillies squad even had much better pitching than the Yankees are projected to have. It happens. Teams get older and fall off that cliff quickly. The Yankees are over that edge and given that they aren't expanding payroll, they won't get the help they need to overcome it. Unless you call Vernon Wells and Lyle Overbay "help."

Couldn't agree more. Plus their own fans have already given up...they couldn't even sell out opening day!!

agree (and with post above), think they'll finish dead last in the east this year. There is nothing to like about this team as a whole, this looks to be a bottoming out season. And it's not like it's a young bad team that has some prospects that am interested in seeing play, it's just old, boring, injury prone, and overpaid, honestly as a Yanks fan would rather watch almost any other team in the bigs than this burning tire dump. Welcome to Year Zero in the Bronx
