I like Headley better. And with David Murphy playing full time this season, he could post close to similar numbers to Gordon this year.
Could but most lkely won't. I like Gordon a lot. Because you have Zimmerman I think this deal is totally worth it.

I would rather have Gordon. He will bat 3 hole soon.
On a team with Butler, Mous, Hosmer and Perez? I don't think so. He'll stick at leadoff because he's KC's best on-base option.
Personally, I'm leaning Headley here. He and Gordon are similar, though Headley will have more HR, RBI and likely more SB.
Given Zimmerman's health history ( and name value) can you trade him for more? Maybe target 2B?
I don't dislike Gordon (I'm a Royals fan). But he also isn't living up to the hype he had just a few years ago either.
